Today is too good to not spend riding horses and doing groundwork. Now that housework is mostly organized, time to go outside and make use of that arena we worked so hard to put together last year.
Going to make the most of the weather we have been given 🥰🥰

First day introduced to a saddle and having it on her. Of course I had to pick the windiest day, but I felt that she was ready for my to put weight on her for the first time ever!
I never ask for much with my first rides. I like to build their confidence in me, and keep it simple with hind quarters disengaging and giving their head without resistance.

I have some exciting news! First, I'd like apologize for the inactivity, but I've been working like crazy and have had a bit of the winter blues get to me.
I've decided to open up a few spots for training this summer. I offer groundwork, c**t starting, miles, patterning for barrels and can start them on the heelomatic as well.
References can be provided, as I know how important it is to feel that your horse is in good capable hands.
I believe that making a good horse takes time, and not all horses progress the same, so I place a high level of value in letting the horse tell me when they are ready for the next step.
While horses are here, they will also recieve Bemer sessions and proper warming and cooling down routines as part of my program to reduce muscle injury risks. Client horses are kept in their own pen as a precaution (we all know how they are so accident prone for such a large critter!)I do have some requirements on the owners behalf, to make sure that the horse is set up for success during their months training.
UP TO DATE : de worming, dental and farrier work is mandatory.

Making progress with Grinchy. This was her second session and she was much more relaxed and gave several releases in the beginning. Might not sound like much, but the day before she was tight lipped right until the bitter end. She is such a lovely mare to be working on and getting her back to her old self ❤️
