Our Story

Nestled between the majestic Marble Mountains and the mighty Fraser River is Big Bar Guest Ranch - historic, timeless and never out-of-style. It’s a cowpoke palace, nestled amongst the pristine grasslands of British Columbia’s Cariboo. We promise you’ll rediscover yourself, learn new things about each other, and get back to the simple things that matter most and started it all.

A rustic retreat without pretence, Big Bar guests are welcomed like family. Laid back and friendly professional service is delivered with the goal of having you leave feeling like Big Bar Ranch is your personal "Home on the Range.” Have your breakfast prepared just the way you like it, breathe in the smell of pine wafting on the air from the seat of your saddle overlooking the Fraser River, or take a bottle of wine back to your cabin to catch the sun set over the mountain.
