Recalls/ Leashskills Workshop
Saturday August 31 from 10am to 12 pm
This 2 hour workshop is open to dogs of all ages and will cover skills to teach your dog to come when you call them…every time.
You will also learn how to make walking your dog more enjoyable, what equipment will help, how to help your dog understand that exploring the environment can be funwithout pulling on the leash.
Cost is $75
Location Greenacre Dog Trining near Vanastra.
Class will be held outdoors and will be rescheduled if raining.

This class is an introduction to a fun activity that gives your dogs and outlet for their sniff search instincts.
Great for all dogs and can be calming for anxious dogs.
You and your dog will learn scent acquisition and basic search techniques.
Class will be taught by Lindsay Joseph. Lindsay has experience training her Brittany spaniel who competes in Novice level and her Flatcoat Retriever who competes Superior/Master level.
Class is $120 for 4 weeks

This is the very best exercise you can do with any dog. It’s especially great for new puppy, rescue dog or nervous, anxious or reactive dogs ( the more nervous the more distance you will need).

Reactive Rover Class
Date Wednesday August 14 to Sept 4 at 7 pm.
This class is for dogs who are fearful and reactive to stimuli ( eg: strangers, other dogs, vehicles) You will learn how to help your dog gain confidence and resilience when in the presence of their triggers. This training will use kind, ethical methods scientifically proven to be more successful for behaviour issues in animals.
Class is limited to 4 dogs. X pens and visual screens will be used to keep all the dogs calm and ensure they feel safe.

Amongst free-ranging dogs, over 50% of puppies never leave their canine family group. Of those who do leave, the average age that they do so is about 9 months.
