TUPPER 🐾🐾

22 months this girl has waited for a family to call her own.
Tupper is a fantastic gal, that needs a strong leader. She's attended e collar training, good with other dogs and children over the age of 12 are recommended.
She's not a difficult dog, she simply needs someone to guide her through decision making choices. She has become a kind and social gal and it's now time to find the right family for her. At just about two and a half yrs old she's starting to settle into a home routine and would LOVE to join an active family.

What a fine fellow he is! Mr Finnegan will be heading to the vet early tomorrow am for his neuter and microchip! He's one of the friendliest boys around "town" and LOVES meeting new people.
Today we are thankful for having a wonderful family foster Finn while he gets adjusted to home living as a well loved dog!

PATCH available for ADOPTION! 🐾🐾

Patch is a large boy (105 lbs of fun) Lab/Mastiff X boy who is READY to meet his people.
At approx 3 years old he's come LEAPS & BOUNDS meeting new people and enjoying daily walks.
He has basic commands down pat and a family or person willing to reinforce them will suit him best.

House trained and crate trained making an easy transition into a new home.

He's a gentle and kind boy, good with other dogs and doesn't appear to have a prey drive.

If you're looking for a big boy to keep you warm this winter consider PATCH!

ADOPT A SHELTER CAT *all you have to lose is your heart!

WE'RE OVER CAPACITY FOR CATS RIGHT NOW.
We have room for 96 cats in our building and we have 170 cats in care. Many have arrived in the last few days. SO - we've temporarily stopped all non-emergency intakes until we can get caught up and get some of these cats into foster care

From the same property Mia came from one friendly boy remains. We'd love to help however we are currently at capacity at the rescue retreat.
If you are interested in fostering (Any) of our dogs, we'd sure appreciate the help.
EVERYTHING you need will be provided.
Ideally fosters will reside between Trenton to the Durham region, for ease of access to our vet partners.

Thanks to Doctor Chris for seeing us today. Both pups attended at Strathy Road Animal Clinic in Cobourg for their 2nd shots.
Puppies will be spayed/neutered, and micro-chiped in early December.

Millie would like to wish you a wonderful Sunday and if you're so inclined "roll on over" to the rescue retreat to meet this delightful gal!

Our silly Millie is back from the vet who commented "she's a busy girl" that we can attest too, 100%!Sporting a new collar and recovery suit this young and stunning gal will soon be looking for an active family to join! She is an absolute champ in the car, and loves meeting all people and dogs too. Now a snack then some rest for Ruff Start gal ❤️🐾

What time is it? Bubble hunting time, of course! I'm unsure who enjoys the new bubble gun more Chris or the puppies 😉

Although we're not a boarding kennel we always welcome volunteers guests and any RSNB dog if their folks are out of town. Sunday evening Vader arrived with a whole bunch of stranger danger in tow, just leaving him alone to get used to tye new smells and people today we've witnessed a different dog. Playful and kind and enjoying just being! Small and deliberate steps are key to winning a dogs trust.

Our Story

All breed Canadian dog rescue. Helping a good dog find a great home! Homeless dog are our priority as well as working with shelters and rescues for at risk dogs in Canada. We have our rescue retreat in Colborne, On where most dogs come, to get to know them and their needs. EVERY dog is treated like they our own for the time they are with us. We will post the dogs in our care ONLY when they are ready to go HOME! Our Adoption fee is $400.00 All dogs are Spayed/neutered utd with all shots, microchiped and flea and tick prevention.

We will send home with a newly adopted dog, collar/lead, dog food, treats for your new companions well being and on to their new beginning!
