🐾 How we are feeling about this new adventure!! 🐾

Today marks our first day as owner of Cornerbrooks Pet Bed & Breakfast, and I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude and responsibility.

I want to take a moment to thank Tanya for trusting my family with this incredible business, and to honor her mom, Judi, who founded this place with love and dedication. We are committed to carrying forward the legacy they built together, one of care, compassion and community for our guests and their families.

To Tanya, I thank you for your mentorship, guidance and friendship as we have worked together towards this day. To our amazing aunties, I thank you for your dedication to our guests and commitment to providing best in class care.

To all the furry friends and their families who have made Cornerbrooks a part of their lives, I look forward to continuing the tradition of love and excellent care that has always been at the heart of this place ❤️

Handing over the Leash: A New Journey with Lauren at Cornerbrooks! 🐾✨

Today, I am filled with a mix of emotions as I pass the leash to someone who embodies everything I could have wished for in the next owner of Cornerbrooks Pet Bed and Breakfast. After 25 remarkable years, it is with an abundance of love and hope that I welcome Lauren and her family to carry forward the legacy of care, warmth, and dedication that has made our place so unique. 💖

Taking over Cornerbrooks from my mom all those years ago was such an honor for our family. Together, we've created a space that truly reflects the love and care for animals that inspired her dream in the first place. I can't thank our amazing "Aunties" — our dedicated staff — enough for pouring their hearts into making Cornerbrooks feel like home for every furry guest. Your support, passion, and love have meant everything to me. I feel so grateful knowing you will continue this journey with Lauren, bringing the same care and dedication into the next chapter. It’s a true testament to the bond we share in caring for our beloved animals.

The bonds I've formed with our guests truly hold a special place in my heart. Each connection has brought me immense joy, and I’ll always cherish the unique memories we’ve created together. I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you for your unwavering support and trust over the years. It has been such a privilege to care for your beloved pets, and in doing so, I've had the privilege of building friendships with so many of you. Thank you for sharing this journey with me; it means the world to me. 🤗

Lauren is a true animal lover, and her passion and kindness will ensure that Cornerbrooks remains the safe, loving haven it's always been for our guests. I'm thrilled to see her take Cornerbrooks into this beautiful new chapter, knowing she will continue the same high standards of care that have been our hallmark for many years.

Today is Remembrance Day, a significant day to reflect on the sacrifices of Canadian veterans who fought for our freedom and peace. We're fortunate to live in a country where these values are cherished, but it's essential to remember that many around the world don't share the same privileges

By remembering their service and sacrifice, we recognize the tradition of freedom these men and women fought to preserve. They believed that their actions in the present would make a significant difference for the future, and it's up to us to ensure that their dream of peace is realized

Ways to Honor their Sacrifices:

• Learn about Canada's Military History: Understand the wars and conflicts that Canada has been involved in
• Hear their Stories: Listen to personal stories from veterans, volunteers, and others who have served Canada
• Visit Memorials and War Cemeteries: Pay respects to Canadians who have served and died in service, both in Canada and around the world
• Support Veterans and their Families: Recognize the sacrifices made by veterans and their families, and support organizations that provide services and benefits to them

Take time today to truly understand the importance of Remembrance Day and express gratitude for the bravery and selflessness of Canadian veterans.
