We’re hearing reports of massive issues on Highway 11 Southbound between Gravenhurst and Washago due to the ongoing snow squalls.

UPDATE: Northbound lanes are also affected.

Some vehicles are stuck in ditches and tow trucks are also getting stuck when trying to rescue them.

Plows are unable to clear the highway and as a result, many have been stuck in traffic for several hours.

PLEASE do not travel in this area unless it’s absolutely essential - staying home is the easiest and safest option.
