Introduction time..
Hi, I'm Nadia..
The owner of Georgian Bay Happy Tails Day Camp. The one behind the camera...rarely in front of it (just the way I like it). I'm the one guiding, loving, playing, caring and, smothering your pup with all the love and attention.
Starting a Dog Day Camp has been a long time dream of mine. A space where dogs can run, sniff, play, explore and do all things dog while in a safe & structured environment. After years of searching with many highs and lows along the way, I feel overwhelmed with joy each and every day as I arrive at Camp.
A few interesting facts about the crazy dog lady...aka...Me!
1. Prior to starting the Day Camp I spent 11 years teaching at the elementary level before an extra early retirement & a trade from little humans to dogs. 🍎➡️🐶
2. The chocolate lab you see in many posts...that's Tikka, she's 12 & she's my whole world. 💞🌍
3. I love nature & the outdoors, it brings all sorts of peace to my soul. 🌲🏔️🌄✌️
4. I love decor, renovation projects and making spaces beautiful. 🔨🪚
5. French is my first language. 🥐🥖
6. I enjoy continuing my journey as a lifelong learner about all things dogs. Communication, body language, best practices. 🐶🐕🦮🐩🐕🦺
