Dr. Michelle Kinosh*ta is the integrative/holistic veterinarian at Pine Holistic Veterinary Office offering Natural Pet Care for dogs and cats.

A Collingwood veterinary office with a special interest in holistic pet care including Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and veterinary medical manipulation for dogs and cats. She graduated from the University of Guelph, Ontario Veterinary College and is Certified in Veterinary Acupuncture (IVAS), Veterinary Chinese Herbal Medicine (IVAS/CIVT) and Veterinary Medical Manipulation (AKA

chiropractic performed by a veterinarian). She has also studied Western herbology, flower essence treatments, and homeopathy. She offers an integrative approach to your pets' health, primarily utilizing acupuncture, herbs, diet and other "alternative" modalities to rebalance the patient.

Holiday Hours:

The office will be closed December 24th to 27th, and December 31st to January 2nd.

Open December 23rd & 30th and January 3rd.

We will reopen on January 6th with regular hours.

Sadly, Amber is leaving Pine Holistic Veterinary Office. She is leaving to pursue a dream. She is moving out West to live in a "tiny house" and live off the land. We will be sad to see her leave at the end of May, but we are excited for the new chapter in her life.

Dr Michelle was invited to Lake Louise, Alberta, to take part in a Dermatology event to help to determine the best treatment protocols with Phovia Fluorescent Light Therapy. We can use Phovia to treat skin lesions to avoid the use of antibiotics, decrease inflammation, reduce scar tissue, speed skin healing, improve the health of the skin and decrease the recurrence of chronic skin, and more. It was an amazing event, in a beautiful location. It was great discussing the use of Phovia with specialists and front line veterinarians from across Canada.

We have exciting news! Our team is growing!
We are happy to welcome Dr. Dana Clayton to the Pine Holistic Veterinary Office team!
Starting in November 2022, Dr. Clayton will be working alongside Dr Kinosh*ta, at Pine Holistic Veterinary office, Mondays and Tuesdays. Dr Clayton has training in nutrition and herbal medicine. She has previous experience in several conventional medicine practices and in emergency medicine.
