We're be doing some well needed maintenance on our hydroponic system and greenhouse this week, getting things winterized so that you keep getting the fresh and crisp delicious lettuce you guys deserve throughout the winter season; so for this weekend there'll be no lettuce deliveries. :(

But don't fret, we still have our awesome microgreens on the menu this week and we've jam packed them with wholesome goodness with some help from Mother Nature. ;)

Life can throw some unexpected moments at us from time to time...

Maybe some unexpected company shows up and you need to prepare a meal for their stay and a nice FRESH salad would go perfectly with the delicious meal you've prepared. When in pinch for delicious and local greens we're there to help you out!

But being in rush is a lot of stress that we all don't need. Be prepared in advance and have those delicious microgreens and lettuce on hand.

The best recommendation is to let us know what you need Friday evening, that way you can be sure to have what you need. Saturdays are a busy day for us because people are taking advantage of our FREE delivery to C.B.S., St. John's, Paradise, Mt. Pearl, and a rushed order may not have what you need. :)

Just recently we were chatting with a long time customer and she asked if it was an inconvenience to deliver to her because of the area she was living in.

Of course we told her it wasn't because she lived in one of the delivery areas, but what she didn't know was that we were also delivering FRESH LOCAL greens to her next door neighbor!!! She was surprised obviously, and relived that we weren't going out of our way.

So, if you're unsure if we deliver to your area, maybe have a chit chat with your neighbor, we could already be delivering FRESH microgreens and lettuce to your area!

We have our delicious lettuce back on the menu this week! YAY!

We were in maintenance mode last week however we quickly found out this year owning a large scale greenhouse and setting up the hydroponics infrastructure you're always in maintenance mode. :)

We do have lettuce back on the menu but we have a limited amount of romaine this week, sorry romaine lovers, however we do have an abundance of red and green butterhead and red leafy lettuce. But be warned romaine lovers, they just may be your next favorite.

This weekend is Thanksgiving and we would like to give ALL of our appreciation and gratitude to our customers for supporting us, without you guys we wouldn't be here today. THANK YOU!!!

We've been chatty lately about our lettuce program, I mean can you blame us, it so FRESH, crisp and flavorful but we can't forget how we got started; Microgreens!

At first glance they don't look like much, other than tiny plants but what they have is where the gold is. Microgreens have a bold flavor and high density nutrition. They can have from 4 to 40 times the nutrient density of their mature counterpart.
In recent years they've become more and more popular because people are becoming aware of just how important they are in a healthy and nutritious diet and they make a bland meal looking appetizing.
We have have a large variety of microgreens on our menu, some are a little more bold than others but they all taste great and they pair perfectly well most dishes.
So what ever you choose from our menu you can be sure that your palate and body will thank you for it.
