Hi clients and friends! We are excited and relieved to announce that we will be reopening for our regular schedule tomorrow at 9am. If you are booked for an appointment tomorrow, please come for your scheduled time. If you had to be rebooked and we left a message for you, please call back when we open and we’ll get you in as soon as we can. Thank you so much for your patience during these strange and difficult times, and as always, thank you for trusting us to care for your darling pets.

Good afternoon clients and friends. Due to the extreme low water volume at Bay Bulls Big Pond, the town of CBS has issued an immediate state of emergency and has ordered all businesses in the town to close immediately. Unfortunately, this means we will have to reschedule all today’s appointments and will reach out to those tomorrow morning as well, just to be on the safe side. The town will provide updates as they are available, and we will update here as we know more. Please do your best to conserve water right now, and reach out should you need us.

If you are in need of our services and are unable to reach us, please contact your regular vet clinic or send us a message here and we will get back as soon as we can.

Today is Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Please join us and share your photos of your darling pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge so we can remember and celebrate them with you today. Hi friends. We’ve had plenty of calls and questions today regarding the current wildfire situation and we feel your concern and fear! Please do not worry and do not hesitate to reach out if you need assistance. We will keep you updated as things advance and change. Please know we are monitoring closely and are ready to act at a moments notice. As ever, thank you to our province’s amazing first responders. Your skills and dedication to keeping us safe are deeply appreciated and we are forever grateful.

Sometimes the little things you remember become the big things when you lose your darling companion. Our aftercare specialist, Paula, was chatting with a dog mom earlier today about how much her special guy loved romping in the grass. She mentioned that she would love if he had a little with him, as he just loved his time outside and playing in the grass. Paula assured her she would take care of it, and that she did! Every pet that arrives at Angel Paws is a member of our own pack. Your stories and chats help us to connect. Thank you for sharing a little of their lives with us.

This program is not affiliated with us, but we are so thrilled that there are options available when people are in need. For those who are struggling and need a little extra help, ease reach out. Look for support. The loss of a pet is often overwhelming and there are those available to provide an ear or a supporting shoulder. Please check into this or other programs. We will help how we can.

It’s a beautiful early morning here in the memory garden. We would like to thank our special friends at the CBS Animal Hospital for donating a beautiful butterfly bush to our garden this year. We can’t wait to watch it grow and flourish in the years to come. We have a few special memorials that are near and dear to us. We welcome you to come and visit the garden anytime you like.
