Did you know we have fleas year round? Winter weather in BC, especially the Lower Mainland, can be so mild that we can see fleas all year.
This year is no exception, and we have seen multiple animals this winter with them.
We do recommend using flea and tick prevention usually April - November, but it is best to use it year round (especially for these mild winters) to help prevent any problems. Once a pet has fleas, it can take several months to get them under control.
We do have multiple products in stock, feel free to call or come down and we will be happy to help get the best one for your pet, and it's lifestyle.

Happy New Year everyone!!
We are a bit late to this, between staff being off sick and the clinic being busy we haven't had much time to do any postings!
All Prescription Hills prices are currently being increased. All Purina food and products will be increased the first week of February, their prices go up February 3rd by approximately 3%.
We still haven't heard from Royal Canin about their pricing.
Most flea and tick products usually go up between now and the spring.

Ti's the season!
In preparation for the upcoming holidays, cut off to get food and medication orders in to guarantee they are in stock beforehand is Tuesday December 17!!
Anything after that cannot be guaranteed. Our ordering between then and January 6 will be hit and miss, this is also weather dependant.

Also a reminder, Royal Canin foods generally go up in January, so get your orders in before to miss the price increase. We haven't had official notice from them, but we feel it's coming soon.

With it being the first official long weekend of fall, we wanted to put out a reminder that if you have a pet that gets stressed or anxious with all the noise and commotion of Halloween, now is your time to give us a call to get some anxiety/calming medications for them.

We are open today until 5pm, and re-open Tuesday at 8am. Enjoy your long weekend, and Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Construction is still ongoing at the main entrance to the complex. Access is best from the driveway that comes down behind Denny's, or the south end by the old RBC (only accessible going North along North Road).

If anyone is looking for something different to do this weekend, the BC Reptile Club is having their fall expo. There will be all sorts of vendors, yes there will be a bunch of snakes, spiders, frogs, geckos.
It is a family event, indoors (in case of rain), NO DOGS allowed.

We have no affiliation with them, just some of us like the "creppy crawly' pets 🙂
