This fancy summer yearling has a deep pedigree.
Maple Syrup’s dam RJF Engineer Maple EX90 3E was 2nd in her class at the Classic in 2018 as a summer yearling and was nominated as a 4-H project.
Her grand dam RJF Comerica Memento Sup EX93 7E was 5th five year old at the Royal in 2018 and was nominated All Canadian and All Ontario 2018.
Maple Syrup’s 4th dam Huronia IMP Marlene 20H was Hon Mention Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion and 1st four year old at the 2002 Royal.
Maple Syrup is a sweet and fancy heifer that would be a great 4-H project or addition to your herd.
She is at Beslea Farms for viewing. Intents to bid are due Saturday by 11am.

Congratulations to Charlotte and Keenan on an amazing job at the Jersey Canada Showmanship Competition at the Royal last week. Charlotte finished 3rd in Novice Showmanship and Keenan LaMorre finished 5th in Novice Showmanship.
Both Charlotte and Keenan have had a great show season and we are very proud of all their success and hard work.

Charlotte has had a busy summer break showing her 4-H calf RJF Video Beacon.
Charlotte was 1st place Novice Showman at the 4-H Showmanship Competition at the Ontario Summer Show this Wednesday.
Earlier this month at Holstein Ontario’s Eastern Ontario Junior Show in Spencerville, Charlotte was reserve Junior Showperson and had the Reserve Champion Calf.
Congratulations Charlotte on all your hard work and dedication!

RJ Farms had Honourable Mention Intermediate Champion at the Ontario Summer Show on Wednesday with RJF Rockstar's Thunder ET.

Thunder was 1st and Best Bred and Owned Summer 2 Year Old. We also exhibited two other class winners and Best Bred and Owned with RJF Gameday Suprise winning the Mature Cow Class and RJF Premier Champagne winning the Lifetime Component Class.

RJF Victorious Clover was 2nd and Best Bred and Owned in the Junior 3 Year Old Class. Our Breeder's Herd was 2nd as well.

RJ Farms was runner up for the Premier Breeder and Premier Exhibitor Banners.

It was a ribbon and banner filled two days at the Ontario Spring Discovery Show this week. RJF animals had great success at the first show of the 2023 show season.

RJ Farms was Premier Breeder and Exhibitor of the Ontario Spring Discovery Show.

We were proud to exhibit the first place Junior and Senior Breeders herds. Other highlights include first place Fall calf (RJF Video Beacon), Mature Cow (RJF Gameday Suprise) and Lifetime Component Cow (RJF Premier Champagne).

Congratulations to Rachel Tamlin with RJF Video Milady. RJF Video Milady was 1st Senior 2yr old, Intermediate Champion and Honorable Mention Champion Cow.

It was a memorable weekend, with the family making our way to the Holstein Canada Convention in Montreal to be presented with our Holstein Master Breeder Shield. It was a wonderful event that showcased Bob and Bobby's passion for breeding quality cattle. Congratulations to the other 19 herds that were presented with shields. It was great to see old friends and meet ones.

This off age (April 20, 2022) junior yearling is stylish, full of pedigree and has tremendous 4-H project potential. Her grand dam is RJF Viral Licorice EX90. Licorice was nominated All Ontario 4-H summer yearling in 2019.

Lightning has multiple generations of show winning very good and excellent dams behind her. Most notable is Ratliff Sambo Martina EX94 3E, a 2 time class winner at World Dairy Expo in milking form.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ione Jarrell, the matriarch of the Jarrell family from Hollyrood Farms in her 101st year. This gracious lady touched the hearts of so many people and we will miss her terribly. We were honoured to have a special celebration with her when she turned 100 this past September. She will be reunited with her husband Lorne who passed in 1983 and her son Donnie. She will be dearly missed by son Bob (April), grandchildren Bobby(Jenn), Jackie, Donnie (Erica) and great grand children Charlotte, Sidney, Felicity and Dylan.
