The first load of donations were dropped off to the NL West SPCA. Thank you to all of our Devoted Pet Lovers who donated food, litter, bedding, and any other products! This couldn’t have been possible without all of you! ❤️🐾

We will be collecting product donations in store to help the NL West SPCA out in this situation. If anyone would like to donate canned cat food, dry cat food, clumping cat litter, and rabbit food it would be greatly appreciated!!

Hoarding Situation Update:

Today we removed a large number of cats and other small animals from a home. These animals are all now in our care. We already have a shelter that is over capacity, and now we are faced with caring for all these additional animals. We have set up a temporary location to house these animals for the time being. Many of them are unwell and undergoing veterinary care.

At this time we have no choice but to completely close to intake of new animals until further notice!

The cost of this is astronomical and something we were not prepared for. We appreciate all donations, e-transfers can be sent to [email protected]

The Petvalu Walk for Dog Guides in Pasadena was an incredible turn out! Thank you to everyone who participated and joined us for the walk, including the superstars Cohen & Kito 🦮

In total thus far, the Pasadena Lions Club Foundation has raised just over $5700 to help lessen the cost of those needing service dogs.

The Petvalu Walk For Dog Guides is happening tomorrow May 28th at the Pasadena Lions Club at 2PM. Registration will be at 1:30PM. 🦮

Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides is a national charity that was created by the Lions of Canada. Its mission is to empower Canadians with disabilities to navigate their world with confidence and independence by providing a Dog Guide at no cost and supporting them in their journey together.

All Dog Guides and required training, including transportation and accommodation, are provided at no cost to qualified applicants. Lions Foundation does not receive any government funding and relies on the support of fundraising events like the Pet Valu Walk for Dog Guides.
