With the increasing pressures on rescue organizations across Canada, the Calgary-based charity Canadian Animal Task Force have recently rescued 45 cats in one day in response to a plea for help. To help with the influx of cats in their care, Pet Valu has donated $5000 worth of Performatrin Ultra Grain-Free Original Recipe Cat Food through the Companions for Change program.

Tonight is the night!!

In store tonight from 6-8 PM is our Spooktacular Tricks For Treats event!

Come in with your fur baby in a costume, where you will get to use your 20$ gift card to spoil them, as well as get some scary good pictures of them, done by Kelseygreenphotography!

We will be posting photos later of all the costumes and will be having a poll to find the winner who will receive a prize! 🕷️🕸️ 🎃

Registration is also welcome at the door. Make sure you are bringing your pet in a costume, or one can be provided to you.

We had 2 very special visitors today!

Jamie and his dog Mavic are making an incredible cycling journey. Starting their journey from San Antonio, Texas… and are making their way to Cape Spear, NFLD! They have already cycled over 3,000kms! Mavic needed to get suited up for the unpredictable weather we have here and got fitted with nothing other than the Paikka Hi-Visibility Rain Jacket, he is now set to venture throughout the rest of the island. 🚲

Thank you for stopping by Jamie, and showing us all the cool tricks Mavic can do! We wish the both of you safe travels, and we hope you have so much fun visiting our amazing Province. It was a pleasure chatting with you.
