Chance

I decided yesterday if he wasn't going to let me touch him, we would need to get him groomed at minimum. After we bathed him and the panick from the towel, he decided Yara was right , Mya wasn't crazy for following us every where, and that our treats were not poison.

We had a many firsts yesterday. First he directly seeked out attention from us, first time he came to us near the couch instead of hiding behind Myas (our oldest rhodesian) lazy boy. We were able to give him his first trim, we were able to get a good look at his teeth, and the first collar and leash day!!!

This is a great start to many firsts.

We have been getting asked alot as of recent if we accept donations. We do not accept monetary donations for us to distribute. However, we have started sponsored adoptions for those who require extra (care, extreme training, health concerns and age). We do accept donations of travel carriers (all sizes), kongs (all sizes), paper towel, and disinfectants(bleach/clorox/etc).

We do accept dog/cat food/cat litter donations 1x a month to distribute to those individuals who have reached out and are in need. Why once a month? We do not have the space to store this in our home for us to distribute the donations.

Phillip (now Doug) in his forever home. This puppy was extremely nervous with everyone took me forever to get him to trust me. Now after some ground work was done just 4 days in he is doing awesome in his new home.

Sybil (now Livi) living her best life with her new brother. After only a few short days she is doing excellent on house breaking, she has grown attached to her new owner very quickly!

This is Maxi, very much loved by his family who could no longer keep him. He was adopted today by a very loving senior who was looking for an older dog that would not outlive her. Maxi being almost 11 years with some vision issues fit just that ! Maxi has a new buddy with mobility issues. This warms my heart ❤️

Pascal is available. He is approx 10 months old. He was matted fairly bad so unfortunately had to be shaved right down. He is super sweet, good with our youngest daughter, good with the dogs, he did attempt to chase the cat BUT the cat quickly put him in his place.

Ideal home would be someone who can commit to some basic training and who is willing to pamper and cuddle him.

I have decided to create a page as apposed to posting on my own page.

I received a call last night for 15 admissions. As you know I do this out of my own home and at my own cost. I am not able to take in more than 4 between my sister and I, at a time. I am waiting on some more information so I can hopefully have a few find homes asap.

All will be up to date on vaccines and microchipped.

Please note they will be required to be spayed/neutered. This requirement is non negotiable.

* vet reference is required.
