Our RVTs also assist the doctors in appointments - we call this team medicine.

🩺 Gathering histories of our patients.
💊 Dispensing medications and getting vaccinations ready for the doctor.
💡 Educating pet parents and ensuring all notes are up to date and accurate.
💉 Gathering diagnostic samples and running when required.

Here we see RVT Kelsey getting kisses from Rusty during Dr. Rumke’s appointment with him 🥰

RVTs are more than just techs—they’re medical professionals, collaborators, and advocates for your pet’s well-being. 🐾 Let’s give them the recognition they deserve this month and every month!

One of the many jobs of our Registered Veterinary Technicians is scrubbing into surgery to assist our veterinarians.

🔪 When RVTs scrub in, they are responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, handing instruments to the vet, holding parts of the patient when needed, and ensuring everything runs smoothly during surgery.

🩺 Whether it’s managing surgical tools or monitoring your pet’s vital signs, RVTs provide expert support to keep everything on track.

Registered Veterinary Technicians (RVTs) make sure every pet receives the best care—even the feisty felines! 🐱

One important task RVTs handle with skill and precision is shaving cats under sedation. Cats often need to be sedated for grooming or medical procedures to keep them calm and safe.

💉 RVTs monitor your cat’s sedation levels carefully to ensure it’s just the right amount—keeping your pet relaxed and pain-free while staying safe during the procedure.

✂️ Whether it's for surgery prep or mat removal, RVTs gently and efficiently shave your cat, ensuring they’re comfortable and stress-free throughout the process.

🩺 After sedation, RVTs closely observe your cat’s recovery, checking vital signs and making sure they wake up smoothly.

Our RVTs bring a combination of compassion, precision, and expertise to every feline they care for, making sure both cats and their owners are in good hands. 🐱
