Rocky is a middle aged dog that had super high energy that often got out of control very easily. I have been working with him on energy control and building a solid boundary and he is doing so well. Here we are practicing going from one boundary to another, growing the value of the release cue and all while there is a distraction in the middle ( he is super food motivated so the open food container was incredibly tempting LOL) What a good boy !

Have you ever wondered how to train when you have multiple dogs?
Well this is one of the reasons why I help my clients learn about creating a solid boundary (place,bed,ect). This is soooo good for helping dogs learn to take turns and to be able to manage their own energy. But most of all it is very clear communication for them and allows them to not stress about the situation, remain calm and content and know they will be rewarded for their good choices.
Indy is an old pro at this game but Tina the mini aussiedoodle is just a pup, and one that wants to take over every situation, and look how well she is doing on her very first multi dog session. We did our first boundary session with just her yesterday and now she knows exactly what to do and is acing this game.
Keep it fun and simple and it doesn't even feel like training!
