Be aware folks!
With the rain followed by the heat in the past few days these mushrooms are popping up EVERYWHERE. Just because there are none in the morning does not mean they are not there at lunch. AND THEY ARE KILLERS! If you even suspect your canine friend has eaten one, or a piece of one get to a vet ASAP. This mushroom and a kitchen garbage bag full of it’s friends were collected down by the air park in Courtenay today!

I can’t stress this enough! We lost our dear friend Marty within 2 hours of eating 1/3 of a mushroom much smaller than this one. Marty was 50 pounds and 10 months old. It was heartbreaking! If this saves just one dog it helps mend the heart💕💕🐾🐾
