Georges Malleroni is returning to Courtenay!!!
Indigo Equestrian Centre is honoured to host the return of Georges Malleroni, of Portugal, from October 14 to 23, 2022. The clinic venue will be split between Indigo Equestrian Centre and Williams Beach Equestrian Centre.
Georges Malleroni has an extensive wealth of experience to bring to us. He was the director of the Alcainca School of Equitation in Portugal, where students of dressage from all over the world came to learn beginner to ‘Haute Ecole’ movements on impeccably trained schoolmasters. Georges is a classically trained master of dressage, as he spent years studying under the late Nuno Oliviera. Georges has studied under the Master of the Portugese School of Equestrian Art, Don Jose Athayde. Focused on the classical way of riding, George now carries on the tradition set down by Nuno Oliveira and the classical dressage tradition of ‘Haute Ecole’.
Georges is well known for his clinics in France, Switzerland, Germany, Spain, United States and now Canada. He is known to have a keen assessment of both horse and rider thereby helping to resolve problem situations and alleviate hours of frustration for horse and rider. His focus is on classical technique combined with modern bio-mechanical perspectives. Georges shows a rare ability to put forth his ideas and concepts to riders in a generous, kind and positive manner, always keeping the well-being of the horse in mind.
