This is 8 year old black lab rescue named Ren, his owners were worried about his leash reactivity. They worked with another trainer before who wasn’t able to help. They were told his reacting was due to fear, but after working with him for a little bit I could tell he was just confused. Unsure how to act, his only response was to react. When he got face to face with other dogs he would sniff with far to much intensity and attempt to mount. With some gentle corrections we were able to let him know that was not what we wanted from him. After realizing he was no longer able to do this, he started to avoid!
