Spring has already began to show its sunshine and warm days are becoming more frequent.

Tackle your dogs training this spring with private one-on-one training with Ty. Personalized lessons to work on your dogs loose leash walking, reactivity and basic family manners

Location: Durham Region - we come to YOU!
Cost - $80/hr for initial lesson
$60/hr for additional lessons - with or without owner present.

Book as often as you feel the need.
Availability Tuesday, Wednesday, Fridays and some weekends.

Happy New year everyone! 🥳

I am continuing business for private lessons as well as starting a few new services!

🐕 Train and Walk - socialization building walks to help improve your dogs leash manners or reactivity on leash. These lessons are for students who have already started private lessons but need some extra sessions for their dog with an experienced handler. This can be a great mental and physical outlet for your dog during the winter months! Lessons are outdoors or in dog friendly places. Like a training field trip for your pup!

- 1 hr lessons with pick up and drop off
- schedule as often as you like

🐕 Puppy Raising - assisting with raising your pup to have a strong foundation in my home. While puppies live with me they begin to learn crate training, work on potty training, explore their new world around them on training outings and introduced to grooming and cooperative handling. They are socialized with other dogs and puppies in a safe and controlled environment.
- currently limited to one puppy vistor at a time
-minimum if a 2 week stay
-availablity beginning at that start of February

I teach at an introduction level to help people learn more about getting involved in the disc dog world. Disc dog can be life changing for anyone! It provides an outlet for you AND your dog.

Its the perfect time of year to get out and TRAIN your DOG! 🐕🍂

Do you have a less than enjoyable walk with your dog? Does your dog get overstimulated or anxious when other dogs or people are around?

There is so much you can do to help them also enjoy the fall walks just as much as you do! Sometimes classes are not the best environment for everydog when you are first learning.

Private one on one training can be a life changing experience for you and your dog. It may be the key to getting to your first class in more advanced training in individual sports. Which can help your dog to enjoy a healthy active life style together! Even if all you are looking for is a happy companion my goal is to open your eyes to new changes that you can make to improve your relationship.

🍂My availability for ✨️PRIVATE LESSONS ✨ ️for companion dogs is OPEN for October and November!🍂

Private lessons are ideally suited for dogs who struggle to focus in a typical class environment and need a more one on one focused training team

My goal with individualized training is to allow dogs to improve their basic social skills to be able to improve their quality of life. Even a few lessons can potentially get you and your dogs ready for taking classes geared towards some future interests and more focused training in Obedience, Agility, Disc Dog or just to become the best family pet they can be!

Perfectly suited for overstimulated dogs, fearful dogs and reactive dogs.

My methods are based off years of personal training and handling dogs in competitive agility, disc, flyball etc Over the years many trainers have inspired my own foundational training such as Susan Garrett, Ian Dunbar, Melissa Millett and countless others in individual areas of dog training. On top of my growing training career I have also been working in ER veterinary medicine for 10 years as a Veterinary Technician. While I have primarily focused my time in the ER and ICU, I have spent some time in General Practice, Rehabilitation and Hydrotherapy where I got to learn to train dogs to swim! While I have not attended any dog training academies I have been training dogs for well over half my life time! I do have a goal to attend Karen Pryor Academy in the future.

Avalibility throughout October and November Weekdays - PM for dates and times, I am fairly flexible on my designated training days!

Classes held in Hampton, Ontario

Geared towards all team levels but focusing on foundation to better your team skills with the proper knowledge of disc dog tips and tricks!

-learn about different types of discs
-how to best engage your dog and what disc is best for them
-basic throwing skills
-how to make the most out of your disc dog and have FUN!!

Classes have very limited numbers to maximize every dogs potential.

Hello all!

It's been a busy hectic spring since coming back to Canada after a few weeks on the road.

Unfortunately the Emergency Hospital that I work for is in need for a full time Vet Tech.

I have offered to help them out on a full time basis from month to month until they can hire more staff. This will limit my availability drastically.

Going forward I will be available

Wednesdays 12pm-8pm
Thursdays ALL DAY
Fridays ALL DAY

This is temporary and may change again as I have some other exciting things happening this year.

My apologies for my limited availability, schedule mix ups and lack of communication for the last few weeks! I am also battling some pretty heavy medical problems with myself so it's been hard to work everyday.

If I have missed your call or message please message again! I am just one person but so miss my clients pups! 🐕🥰

Zoe learned her heel position today 🐩🚶

This is step one to begin to improve her leash pulling habit. She showed off to her owner how lovely she can walk next to her. Just takes a bit (A LOT) of practice to reward at the right time, in the right position and have patient and persistent mindset.

I always have a pouch filled with the highest value rewards. You have to PAY to build on that focus and behaviour!

Will you have to reward them forever? No! However the more you reward something in the beginning the more likely the dog is to offer the rewarded behaviour more frequently which will build the new habit over time.

Champ is a newly adopted boy who has quickly bonded with his owner. Although they have a strong bond already Champ is a young and very strong immature Shepherd. He is working on his manners, leash walking and cycling impulse control
