4yo 14.2hh qh mare. Really really friendly, was more than happy for me to pet her all over and pickup all 4 feet. This lady is going to be AMAZING. Has so much potential to be an incredible kids/family horse.

I believe they are both untouched, and believe he's around 3/4 months old and has some draft in him. And I believe she is about 6, and roughly 15hh and stocky. Both are very sweet and curious, completely sound and low in the pecking order.

Time to start finding homes for our new additions! 🥰 They have all finished their quarentine period, and are happy and healthy! Located in Cowichan Bay (Vancouver island.) Hauling can be arranged :)

First up, we have this beautiful mini mare! Very pregnant, though we are unsure of when she is due. She is roughly 4 years old, and us very likely halter broke (everyone's still settling in so we haven't tried to halter yet.) She will come up for treats. Great with the other horses! Low in the pecking order.

Very well behaved, not studdy at all. Kids can ride him, lead him around, brush him, love him. He's great with dogs, chickens, kids. Not spooky at all, very brave and kind hearted. The hardest part about what we do.

As you may know, about 2 months ago we took in this big spotted draft named Toby. We very quickly fell for him, and he was a part of the family.
3 years ago Toby foundered/ developed Laminitis...the worst I've ever seen.
During the 2 months we had him, we consulted several vets, several farriers and several specialists to see if there was ANYTHING we could do to make this poor baby comfortable and pain free. Unfortunately everyone said the same thing, no amount of money in the world could make him completely pain free and comfortable.
We made the incredibly hard decision to have him put to rest, and today was the day. He is finally pain free 💔❤️ buried on our good friends property...we couldn't be more thankful for that. We gave him the absolutely best last day we could.

Toby, we will be forever greatful for the incredible 2 months we had with you. You made such an impact on every person you met, and the herd loved you SO much.
Enjoy the pastures in heaven big squish ❤️

Welcome this handsome dude in to the herd!

Ellis is a 5yo, 12hh pony gelding. Unfortunately ended up in the wrong hands, so we were lucky enough to take him in. This dude is nervous, but has already come SO far in the short couple hours he has been home. We were able to brush him all over, pick up all 4 feet and give him lots of love 🥰

What an absolute crazy weekend we had!We got called in to get some horses out of a very bad situation.
In total, we ended up moving 10 horses off this one property. All absolutey skin and bones (some worse than others) and some covered in open wounds. 3 came to us, the rest went to a good friend of ours.

We are very thankful we are in the position where we are able to help out who needs it ❤️ Vet is booked, farrier is booked, and endless free choice hay. Welcome to the herd!

On another note...name suggestions?? The bay is a gelding, other 2 are mares.

Toby is a 14 year old, 18.3 (need to restick...we think taller) spotted draft horse. He was a part of an incredibly impressive 8 up hitch, until he came down with an awful case of Laminitis/founder. We are lucky enough to have been able to take in this incredible dude ❤️ can't wait to get his feet on track, and get him comfortable again. This dude is of course very well broke to drive, and ride! Welcome Toby!

What a weekend we had!! 3 horses went to their forever home, 1 more was sold, heading to his forever home within a week, and we went on what could be a once in a lifetime haul!

To start it all off, Teddy found an amazing forever home. We couldn't be happier for him!

Stryder went back to his owner of 10 years. We are so beyond thankful we were able to connect them back ❤️ the bond they have is incredible. It was very clear he remembered her after the 4+ years apart.

Pheonix found his forever human, going to come down to Saanich to be a best friend for a very lucky lady.

Bear went off to his new home at Clayoquot Wilderness Resort Ltd. This dude hit the jackpot! As well as we were lucky enough to get to haul him, and his new girlfriend Fiona over to the island. The resort is a 3 hour barge ride away from Tofino. 24.5 hour round trip, amazing sights, incredible people and incredible horses. What a trip it was! Steve, Ayden and of course our farm dog, Dog, enjoyed the trip. Sounds like we have created a connection and may get to do this again!

Can't believe how many of our babies have gone to their forever homes lately!!
Just 3 more left looking for their homes 🥰 then we won't be getting any more until we buy our own property. We will however still take in surrenders, and emergency situations.

3 of our herd went to their new homes today which we couldn't be happier about.

We also want to welcome this pretty lady to our herd. She has glaucoma in her one eye, so is completely blind in that eye and will need it removed. She is definitely thin, and in a bit rough shape but we will get there! We hopped on her today to asses what she knows, and she blew us away! It's been months since she's been ridden, and she didn't put a foot out of place. We will slowly start building her muscle back up as she gains weight. She will be attending next weekends gymkanna with us (though will just be hanging out.)
