1. HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A MEMBER OF THE CDKC?
Over 3 years, myself and my two sons

2. WHAT BREED DO YOU OWN?
Hungarian Vizsla, short hair

3. WHAT SPORTS/EVENTS DO YOU PARTICIPATE IN?
Dog shows only for now and we’re looking forward to scent work and agility in 2025

4. WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT YOUR BREED?
Vizslas are energetic and playful outdoors, extremely smart, and incredibly snuggly at home. They are driven hunters and quick learners, making them excellent companions for active families and hunters.

5. TELL US ABOUT YOUR DOGS
Amber Haida Mysliwski Team was born on May 21st, 2023 in Poland. We are CKC members and OFA tested. Still working towards Championship.

Together with my sons (8 and 10), we not only enjoy showing our girl at dog shows but also embark on endless adventures, whether it’s rafting along the river, backcountry skiing, biking, hiking, or hunting.

LAST CALL FOR ENTRIES! Early Bird Rally/Obedience Trials September 28/29, 2024 close August 31st and regular closes September 6!!! Don't be disappointed...get your entries in!! Lovely indoor venue set in a beautiful area between Kimberley and Cranbrook BC. Plenty of benching and warmup area, coffee and sweets available for exhibitors and a very good possibility we will be offering lunch on both days.

Our 2024 shows are now behind us! The people (Club Members and Exhibitors) not only exhibited dogs, but demonstrated what dog shows and dog people are all about...camaraderie, respect, and making the most of a bad situation! Our beautiful grounds were all but flattened by a sudden rain/wind storm early Friday evening! Club tents and popups as well as exhibitor setups were destroyed, and portions of the rings dismantled. Club members and exhibitors joined forces to save what they could and keep each other safe. BUT!... Saturday morning, the show went on, on time, and with many smiles, great attitudes and even a sense of humour! The rain took care of the pesky wasps, we had less to take down at the close of the shows...haha...and we continued to do what we love! On Saturday Members, Judges and Exhibitors enjoyed a lovely potluck provided by the Club, despite the cooler temperatures, and we ended the shows on Sunday with a beautiful sunny day...there was already conversation about plans for next year!

Welcome to the 51st Annual Cranbrook & District Kennel Club All Breed Dog Show in our beautiful corner of the Kootenays! 👋We wish everyone a safe and successful weekend!

It is a bad year for wasps so we ask for your cooperation in minimizing the use/storage of meat for bait and please keep food and drink well away from the ring area. Much appreciated!!

August All-Breed Shows are now closed (thank you and welcome to those who entered!) and we are now encouraging entries for our (Indoor) Rally/Obedience Trials September 28/29, 2024. GREAT VENUE! Plenty of benching and warm up area!
