Quotes by Clinton Anderson that a young trainer should live by and most of us learn the hard way:

1. “Work harder than anybody else. That’s the one thing that will beat talent.”
2. “Nobody respects your money like you do no matter how much you pay them or how much incentive they have.”
3. “An employee will do what you inspect, not expect.”
4. “It’s not a bit that’s severe in a horses mouth, it’s the hands behind it.”
5. “Frustration begins where knowledge ends.”
6. “If you’re getting bucked off in the first place, it’s because you’ve already failed. The fact that your c**t wants to buck tells me you haven’t done your homework.”
7. “It’s amazing what you can get done in 8 hours, if you actually work for 8 hours”
8. “You better pick somebody that loves what you’re doing because horses are a drug. It doesn’t wear off. And people that don’t have that drug, will never get that drug.”
9. “Make sure that customer walks away feeling like they got more than they paid for. “

Thank you Mainroad East Kootenay Contracting LP for the use of the water truck this weekend. The horses, cattle and riders definitely appreciated the dust being kept at bay. Without small community sponsors like this these events could not be possible or enjoyable! Thank you from all of us at WCA

Latest Update
Tuesday June 18th
The thief had someone return one of the stolen items for him as well as $100 to compensate for the other stolen items and for loss of time (time we spent dealing with this theft). Let it be clear that we had asked to be compensated for our time spent dealing with this issue (now more than 6 hours which means we were compensated far less than minimum wage for our time). This is not extorsion as his support worker called it. We believe his support worker paid this out of pocket not the thief himself as she also tried to bribe us with a $1000 offer to take down the post a day ago which we refused/denied as we don't want the money.

All that we want is for thieves to pay a price for their actions/wrong doing and learn that stealing is not OK, own up to it and apologize as well as return the items. Preferable the price paid would be more severe through our Judicial system however since our Judicial system is failing our country then shaming on social media will have do and to be honest works quite well.

The lady, who delivered the stolen goods to us stated that I have no empathy for people suffering from PTSD.
Just to clarify the definition of Empathy:
the action of understanding, being aware of, being sensitive to, and vicariously experiencing the feelings, thoughts, and experience of another.
I am aware and very empathetic to his PTSD and issues that he is dealing with from "serving for our country". However this does not excuse him from the consequences of choosing to steal from others/committing a crime".
Further by offering to pay a sum of money to make the social media shaming disappear is enabling the thief by telling him its ok to steal from others because someone else will cover it up for you. If she's willing to do it this time why not next time?
What a shame that enabling others is what some people call "support" nowadays.
Should we not be teaching right from wrong? Should those who commit a crime not be face the consequences of their actions? The answers without question should be YES always with no exception teach right from wrong and there should be consequences/punishments for the actions of those who commit crimes.
At Just Liquid Sports we have very big hearts, we have built our business and reputation on supporting our community through watersport recreation, donations, events and so much more.

That said let it be known to the world that if we catch anyone stealing from us you will be punished. We will proceed with theft charges as well as the new age form of punishment Social Media Shaming. We will not accept any excuses or reasoning for that type of behavior. Nor will we ever accept payments to make the shaming disappear. We don't want your hush money we want you to learn your lesson!

In the little time it has taken me to write this update I have been informed that this thief was at it again in another business in Cranbrook today.
We had considered taking down this post since one of the stolen items was returned and we were compensated for the other items however the thief has still not owned up to it and apologized himself and after hearing he was at it again today I feel he has yet to learn his lesson so the post will remain until RCMP confirms they have pressed charges.

To all of you honest watersports enthusiasts out there: You and your honesty and support are so very much appreciated specially at times like these.

Update June 17th
We know who the thief is
The post will not be removed until the thief returns to Just Liquid Sports pays for the items he stole as well as some labour for the 5 hours we spent dealing with camera footage and rcmp. He also owes the staff and owners of Just Liquid an apology for his actions. The post will only be removed once the thief himself completes this.
No we will not accept payments from any of his friends or family we expect the thief to own up to his selfishness / bad choices himself. ( sad that we have been offered this by a few , these people need to understand paying for the thief’s debt only enables him and tells him he can keep steeling from others. Shame on you for even trying. The thief needs to learn from this and own up to his mistakes!
We are disabling comments on this post and will not respond to any future messages. Hopefully the thief will do what’s right otherwise the post will remain in social media forever.

Thanks to all those that do support Just Liquid Sports by purchasing items and helping us catch and name the thief! Much appreciated.

Original content post below
Friday June 14 th this man decided to steel a few items from us. He’s not very smart as it was all on camera.
We will give him until 5pm today. To return all the items.
If returned by 5 pm we will take down this post and forget it happened.
If not returned by 5 pm we will proceed to inform RCMP as well the Facebook shaming will stay on permanately. We have all the footage we need with clear face shots , video and photos of vehicle and licence plate as well we have video of the numerous items stolen.
If not returned we will run an advertising campaign so that all of western Canada knows his face!
If you know him Please pm us with his name/address/contact info or send info to [email protected]
Thanks
