Welcome to Sinclair Rabbitry BC. We are a small Rabbitry located in Creston, BC. We are situated in the heart of the Kootenays and directly above the BC/Idaho border. We currently sell to those in BC, Alberta, Idaho, Montana, and Washington.
We take pride in every rabbit we sell. We handle them from birth, tame them, connect with them, and make sure that they are ready to go before we depart with them. All our rabbits are used to the outdoors, as well as dogs and cats. We love each and EVERY rabbit that comes through these doors and we strive to keep them healthy and happy, Always.
With a tiny top weight of 4 pounds, the Holland lop is the smallest of the Lop breeds! Holland Lop is a breed of rabbit, originating in the Netherlands. They are one of the most popular rabbit breed; very popular house pets, and very popular for show. They are also known for their sweet temperament and nonaggressive behavior. The other lop breeds include French, English, Mini, and Fuzzy. Holland Lops are a popular breed of pet rabbit because they have one of the most gentle and kind temperaments. I may be a little biased, but with their floppy ears, small weight, amazing temperament, and face shape, Holland Lops are by far the best breed!
In 2013, I Frieda Draxlir, (Sinclair at the time) began Sinclair Rabbitry in Hamilton, Ontario. I developed this business and hobby throughout my highschool years. Breeding was a passion and rabbits were a love of mine. After breeding for 5 years, I graduated high school, let my neighbour continue to run the rabbitry, and went to university to study business. This Rabbitry continued to run under the name Sinclair Rabbitry, and it still a successful, wonderful rabbitry today. After some time at University I moved to BC, married my fiancé at the time, and settled in Creston, BC. It didn't take long for me to miss rabbits enough to want to begin another small Rabbitry. Sinclair Rabbitry was apart of my heart, and so we decided to open a second location of the Rabbitry on the other side of the country. We are excited to be the only Rabbitry in Canada that has two locations and be able to provide quality purebred Holland Lops to nearly half the provinces in Canada.
