We have an amazing little gal here!🥰

Nixen recently celebrated her 8th birthday and chose that instead of presents this year, to ask for money donations for our little shelter.

Nixen's family adopted their feline friend, Tony Stark (formerly Buck) from Tails to Tell last summer, and he has inspired Nixen to be more involved with cat rescue.
Her mom Michelle told us that "She was so happy to celebrate turning 8 by being able to do something to help the cats & kittens."🫶

Nixen and her mom, Michelle also brought in food, treats and other goodies for our residents as well.

Happy Birthday Nixen! I'm sure we'll see more of you in the coming years.🦸‍♀️

A little story time...A Tale of Two Kitties.

How often have you seen FREE kittens? Probably quite a few right?

Sadly, this is where the story take a little bit of sad twist because there's no such thing as a FREE kitten.
Because just like anyone or anything we take care of or take charge of, our little friends need to see a kitten doctor. And that can cost you big time.

So if you're considering adding a little feline friend to your loving family, make sure to include rescue shelters, just like ours, in your search.🙏

And too many times to count, we've taken in those free kittens who haven't had their shots, been to a vet and sadly not spayed or neutered.

Let's meet Essence.

This resilient and loving momma cat has blossomed from a scared, semi-feral cat into a devoted mother. Essence initially kept her distance but found trust and comfort with her human mom after giving birth. Now, her vibrant personality shines through as she vocalizes her happiness, purring loudly and often to express her contentment. Essence adores attention, particularly enjoying scratches and belly rubs that reveal her affectionate nature.

Essence not only cared for her own kittens, Nalla and Xyla, but also took in three orphan babies - Atro, Epi, and Ace, with open paws and a full heart. 🫶
Essence shared a special bond with her foster dog family, finding comfort and companionship in their presence.
With her resilience, warmth, and unwavering love, Essence will make a great addition to any family.

This stunning lady is just a year old, spayed, microchipped and her shots are up to date.

Meet Bryley everyone. Or Baby Cat as she likes to be called. We're looking to find a special foster home or even an adoptive home for this absolutely gorgeous lady.

A little bit about this sweet gal.
She originally came to us as a surrender and was luckily adopted by a wonderful lady who spent lots of time, love and patience with her. Sadly, she recently lost her loving lady, as she went into a care home and Baby Cat has come back to us.
Baby Cat takes awhile to adjust to new surroundings. Once she settles in, playtime can begin. And if she had a little human or two to play with...she loves kids!
Baby Cat needs to be the only pet in the home. Other cats make her very anxious and dogs scare her terribly.

If you or someone you know is THAT special person or family that can provide the love, patience and understanding that Baby Cat requires, please reach out to us.
Our foster team would love to chat with you and see if you would make a good fit for our girl.

We have some new faces visiting our pet store partners this weekend.

Our very stunning Yolk, is hanging out with the crew over at PetValu in Coopers Crossing. This unique looking gal will soak up all the love you can give her.
