I tried something new...recording my groom in hyper speed. This was an hour and a half of work. I stopped recording and finished the groom on the floor. The old girl was getting tired of being on the table.

The importance of brushing and combing. Ryder has been enjoying the beach and the creeks at the campground. I haven't been keeping up with the brushing. This is the results.
All those clumps you see are tangled old (shedding) hair stuck in the remaining hair. Each of these clumps pulls and hurts. This can happen with any dog with long hair, whether they are a border collie, aussie, doodle, etc.
The best thing you can do is regularly brush/comb your dog, ESPECIALLY after they have aired dried.
