Yesterday marked a personal best at Elmshade! We did our 50 day weights for our April group.
Mastine Tom Boy 22M bent the dial down to 96 lbs at 59 days old!
On the ewe side, Mastine Dasha 21M tipped it down to 81 lbs at 62 days.
Overall, 18 lambs averaged 64 lbs at 50.5 days. 🤩🐑

Sheep got sheared Saturday, had a little visitor, first trip to the barn with Nanny , and Grampa, Sierra even managed to find time to work with her lamb.

Sierra was able to start working with her 4-H project today. She was pretty happy 😃 with her choice ❤️🐑. Got Lily’s out also both pretty quiet already 🤩

Some highlights of the 50 day weights:
Twins Executive 2M & Eclipse 3M at 72 lbs & 58 lbs (54 days)
Pumpkin 8M (a full sister to Admiral sold to Dry Sandy in the US) 67 lbs at 48 days
Enforcer 19M was 62 lbs at 39 days 💪

The month is coming to an end. Our January ewe group gave us some nice lambs. We had 13 ewes in this group finished with 20 lambs. Some nice choices for All Canada Classic, which is in our home province this year. 🇨🇦 🐑
