We were extremely lucky to work with Wet Nose Images - Halifax Dog Photographer over the last couple of weekends to capture our staff and pets. Words cannot describe how grateful we are to both our clients, for loudly and proudly voting for us, as well as Cassie for putting so much of their time, effort and talent into creating some amazing portraits for us to cherish forever! 🐾❤️

Spring has sprung and along with it comes all the wonderful tiny critters of the season! 🐝

Every year around this time we start to receive calls and emails from concerned owners about circular red marks on their dog. While they do closely resemble target marks which we associate with ticks, these are often found to be black fly bites. They are usually found in clusters on areas where the fur is thin. Black fly bites are harmless other than being a little itchy, and will resolve on their own with time.

Of course if you are unsure, we are happy to check! 😄

Please join us in celebrating our fantastic team of receptionists. They are our multi-tasking superstars that we would simply fall apart without. Our front desk team does everything from answering phones and emails, to keeping our appointments flowing, to helping clients file insurance claims, to keeping our lobby and exam rooms tidy and stocked, and much more! They really are some of the busiest folks in our hospital. 📞🐝
