It's official, the Pantone Colour of the year for 2025 is Mocha Mousse! I don't think we *quite* have the exact shade in our range, but we've got a few I think are the same vibe, what do you think? 🤔 did Pantone pick a winner with this one?

It’s THE Tabi cat helping me pack up! I will be at Christmas at the Annex on Saturday. Check for all the details. $5 at the door. I’m only there Saturday but it is a 3 day event. I am excited that I will be launching a new product line, resilk, which is a collab with my bestie Terri who has a great eye for thrifting- she found beautiful 100% silk scarves for us to upcycle into truly one of a kind . Sewing is better with friends!

I didn’t get too crazy with Christmas craft shows this year. An evening market at Astral Drive Elementary this Thursday (with the help of bright_morrow_designs!) and Christmas at the Annex on Saturday the 30th (one day only for me). In light of the Canada Post strike, locals can purchase online and select local pickup (I can actually personally deliver pretty much anywhere in Dartmouth, and schedule a drop off in Halifax on weeks I am in the office for my day job). I will have some fun novelty scrunchies, as well as my designer headstock silk line, all great for gifting!

Working on a new product slightly inspired by what I need for a hobby 😅 I have a little finessing to do, but wristlet keychains are coming! Great for your keys, an access card or transit pass, or maybe even your ! (By the way, if you are that kind of nerd, I post regularly about my tamagotchi hobby in my personal insta and I am trying to start a local fan club, ) I bet I can start listing these on my website in a week or two after I work out some of the details so I am 100% happy with them. Any requests for specific themes or colours? Would probably do cotton or polyester as opposed to very fine or decadent fabrics like silk.

Taking a few weeks off from markets to try out Etsy and try to get serious about my ecommerce site and whatnot. I also got an AMAZING fabric destash haul from Facebook marketplace and I can't wait to stitch it all up! I did cut up some stuff that seems very immediately relevant for season but also lots of great licensed prints. I will have to scope out a few nerdier craft shows too.

Really pleased with these great fall ! Just have to close up the black ones, then I will thread my machine for purple for the ghosts. Love it!
