✨ Some seriously lucky pups got the VIP treatment at Perfect Pets this week! ✨ From fluffy makeovers to stylish trims, we had a blast pampering these adorable clients.

A HUGE shoutout to AJ for holding down the fort like an absolute rockstar while our Team Lead is away in Vancouver! The shop has been running smoothly, tails have been wagging, and the fluff has been flying—just the way we like it!

Clarification for New Clients – Choosing Your Groomer

We’ve noticed some confusion lately, so we’d like to clear things up! When you book an appointment as a brand-new client, you will receive a welcome text confirming your groomer and other appointment details. If you have a preference for a specific groomer, it must be verified in advance.

✨ Important Notes:
- Manuelita is NOT accepting new clients. She only has a cancellation list available. If you’d like to be on it, please let us know.
- AJ is currently accepting new clients! AJ is an incredibly talented and trusted member of our team. His grooming skills, attention to detail, and natural ability to bond with animals are truly exceptional. We are confident in his work, and just like the rest of our team, he is fully certified in canine first aid and is continuing his education to become the very best!

We are so proud of AJ’s work, and we want to recognize his talent! Check out some of his amazing grooms below. If you're a new client, there’s a good chance he will be the one taking care of your pup, and we know you’ll love him as much as we do!

⚠️ PSA for Pet Owners in Dawson Creek ⚠️ PLEASE SHARE

Just a heads-up to be extra cautious about scams . Unfortunately we’ve had a few people inform us of this issue earlier this week .

There have been reports of a so-called “mobile groomer” taking deposits (sometimes even full payments) and then disappearing without a trace.

To avoid scams, make sure you’re booking with a legitimate business:
✔ Speak with them directly—a real business will have a working phone number.
✔ Check for an established online presence—legitimate groomers should be searchable on Google and have a properly maintained page.
✔ Look for authentic photos and reviews—if a page has thousands of followers but barely any reviews or only a handful of generic photos, that’s a red flag.

Scammers often pop up in comment sections offering services—don’t trust random accounts without doing your research. Take the time to verify before sending any money. Stay safe, and let’s look out for each other!

We said farewell & safe travels to Creeker today , the sweetest little Aussie with the biggest personality! From his very first groom to his last with us, it's been an absolute pleasure watching him grow and getting to know him and his mom, Rebecca.

We're so grateful to have been a part of his grooming journey from the cutest little fluffy puppy to the stunner he’s turned into today , and while we’re sad to see them go, we’re excited for their next adventure! Wishing them safe travels and all the best in their new chapter—may it be filled with sunshine, wagging tails, and endless belly rubs.

Pandy came out looking absolutely adorable with a short teddy bear cut—perfect for summer and showing off his sweet face. Due to high demand, we’re extending our Nail Trim Day to a FULL DAY! If you didn’t know, we’ve been offering nail trims on the last Saturday of every month for well over a year now, but it’s always been only half a day—until now!

Starting this month, we’ll be available ALL DAY to keep those paws looking perfect. Our next **Nail Trim Day is March 29th**, and we’re taking bookings now!

- Nail trim – $15
- Nail trim & Dremel – $21

💍 A Very Special Spa Day for Lucy! 💍

Lucy is one of our beloved regulars, visiting us every four weeks for her glow-ups—but this visit was extra special! Her mama (who you might know from Beardless Barber downtown) is getting married this weekend and of course, Lucy needed to look her best for the big day, too!

To celebrate, Lucy got a fresh groom and a “very special bandana” that says “I do too." Because when your humans say “I do” you’re part of the love story, too!

Never have I ever… in my entire grooming career, met a dog quite like Charlie! 🐾💛 This three-legged legend has been coming to us every five weeks, and for the first time, I decided to film what he does during his groom. Most dogs tolerate brushing… Charlie? He *lives* for it. Rolling around, asking for belly rubs, completely unbothered on the table—this guy is in his element! He even does this for nail trims! Seeing a dog this comfortable and trusting with us is one of those moments that makes being a groomer so rewarding.
