📣 Appointment Update from Perfect Pets 🐾

Hi everyone, it’s Manuelita here. I just wanted to give a quick update—I’ve had to cancel all nail trim appointments for tomorrow. I was recently in the hospital. I’m home now but still not feeling well and need some time to rest and recover.

I also want to sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to everyone this week. It’s been a tough few days, and I really appreciate your patience and understanding.

I’ve contacted everyone who was booked for tomorrow, but if I happened to miss you, I’m so sorry. You’re more than welcome to rebook for next week with either myself or AJ—just send us a message and we’ll get you taken care of.

Hank the Bernedoodle’s Big Spring Trim!✂️✨

We’ve been grooming Hank for two years now — he’s one of our eight-week regulars! Over the last eight months, Hank’s been growing out his gorgeous, fluffy coat, and today we measured it before his big spring clean-up: it was 6.5 inches long when stretched out!

But... springtime grass, dust, and outdoor adventures got the best of us — and that’s totally okay! Today was the day to give Hank a fresh, lighter look just in time for summer. ☀️ Now we get to start growing it out all over again!

A little reminder for all our dog parents:
Long hair isn’t what causes matting — lack of daily brushing does. 🖤 If you’re wanting to keep your dog’s coat longer through the warmer months, we highly recommend:
✔️ Daily brushing at home
✔️ Sticking to a 4-week grooming schedule

And if your lifestyle is changing with the nicer weather — like Hank's! — there’s no shame in opting for a shorter haircut for spring and summer. Short haircuts = happy, healthy dogs (and happy, stress-free owners too!).

Being a responsible dog parent sometimes means saying, “This beautiful long coat just isn’t working for us right now!" — and that’s perfectly okay.

Wilson the dachshund stopped by Perfect Pets for a fresh summer cut!
This sweet little guy was dealing with a serious case of spay coat, but now he’s all cleaned up, feeling fresh, and looking extra dapper in his purple bow tie. We’re obsessed with how adorable he turned out!💜

Meet Mars— or as we like to call him, Mars Bar because of his rich chocolate coat 🍫 and the sweetest little face you’ve ever seen 🥹! This adorable Shih Tzu melted our hearts today, so of course we had to give him a reddish bow ❤️ in honor of his cosmic name. Just as sweet as the candy, and twice as cute! ✨
