To our wonderful Perfect Pets family,

This is a very difficult message for me to write.

Due to some extremely unexpected and deeply personal circumstances, I will need to take a temporary leave of absence. Because of this, Perfect Pets will not be opening December. I know how much many of you were counting on us for the holidays, and I am truly, sincerely sorry.

Please know this decision was not made lightly.
I have poured my heart into this business, and stepping back even for a short time is incredibly painful. But right now, I need a moment to focus on my family, my child , my health, and how to navigate some challenges that truly require my full attention.

We appreciate your patience, your kindness, and your understanding more than you know.
This little business means the world to me, and so do all of you who support it.

We will keep everyone updated about January 2026 operations and the on going calendar . Whether that’s my return or a transition into AJ and our team carrying things forward.

Thank you for supporting us through the highs and lows. And thank you for giving us the time and space we need right now.

Everyone, thank you so much for your patience as we work through the final steps of reopening. We’re currently waiting on one last city inspection, and a Canada Post shipping delay has slowed a few of our essential supplies for opening.
Once those are cleared, we’ll begin booking clients right away. We are not ignoring you .

📣 Hello Perfect Pets clients (and future ones too!)

WE HAVE A NEW LOCATION! PLEASE SHARE THIS POST!!

And yes — our phone has been turned off for the last two weeks while we’ve been sorting through everything. It will be turned back on this Friday! 📞✨

We know things have been a little quiet, so here’s a full update from your Perfect Pets team 🐾

As many of you know, our final day at our old location was Friday, October 31st, 2025.
Throughout November 2025, we are temporarily closed while we renovate, relocate, and complete additional training before reopening in our brand-new downtown Dawson Creek space this December! 🎉

During this short break, we’ve been working hard behind the scenes — moving equipment, deep-cleaning, upgrading tools, and expanding what we offer. Our team is completing advanced certifications, adding cat grooming, and introducing specialized breed services. We’re also rolling out new tech features, including online booking and updated branding.

We’re so excited about this next chapter, and everything we’re doing is to serve you and your pets even better. 💛

We’ll be reaching out to all our regular 4-, 6-, and 8-week rotation clients as soon as booking reopens.
We also plan to begin welcoming new clients toward the end of 2025 and into 2026 as our team grows.

👉 If you’re a new client and not currently part of our rotation, feel free to reach out closer to December, or let us know if you’d like to be added to our notification list — we’ll happily contact you when our books reopen!

In the meantime, stay tuned on Facebook for updates, or text us in early December if you’d like to be added to our callback list once our new calendar goes live.
