WE TOOK SIRIUS FROM A SHELTER TO SAVE HIM FROM EUTHANASIA BUT WE DON'T HAVE A FOSTER RIGHT NOW.

Meet Sirius,
This active 1yr old boy is looking for his forever home 🏠

Sirius was found running as a stray. When he first came to us he showed signs that he had only known a life living outside. He is now fully crate trained and potty trained.

Sirius loves to play fetch with a ball and loves a good game of tug!

Sirius is a project dog looking for an active breed experienced home to meet his high energy exercise needs, and someone to continue working his brain in obedience. He currently knows the basics of sit, down, place, and is working on his leash manners and is walked in a prong collar. He needs a person who understands that he is still learning how to be a house dog, and that he doesn't need to do everything in full energy and drive.

Sirius has shown high prey drive with small animals and cats, so a home without these is required. He has high ball drive, and low food drive. He has been tested in protection and showed potential in defense drive.

Sirius prefers to only play with female dogs, and when he does he needs to be paired with someone who likes to play rambunctious and rough like he does.

Sirius has some mild leash reactvity when he sees dogs on walks, predominantly if they are reactive to him first, and has show some reactivity in the dark on walks when seeing people in big coats or with a hood/hat on, but corrects easily and stops. We believe this is just due to lack of exposure/socialization and will go away with time.

When Sirius has had his needs met, he is a very sweet boy who loves being pet and enjoys chewing his bone/toy on the couch beside you, but does benefit from crate time during the day to settle.

At this time we reccomend no kids as he is high energy and rambunctious and can still be a mouthy puppy.

✨ 2024 you've been so good to us! ✨

Thank you, thank you, thank you.

We love and appreciate all of our amazing clients. We are so grateful for the new connections made and for all the growth we've had over this past year.

Starting over completely fresh in a new place 440kms away from where we were thriving and established was nerve-wracking to say the very least but we couldn't be happier with where this huge change has led us.

Settling into the farm we now call home and getting to do all of the things we wanted to has taken some time (definitely more time than I'd hoped 😅). BUT Rome wasn't built in a day.

We still have SO MUCH more we plan to offer in the future and are extremely excited to continue building and becoming bigger and better.

We'll be announcing an extension of an existing service shortly that I know a lot of you will be excited about 👀🦈 so keep an eye out for that!

Merry Christmas! 🎄🎁

Just like that, another year is coming to an end. Although we've been very busy having everything come together behind the scenes, it's so rewarding to see it all playing out. Step by step, chiseling away.

We have some exciting things coming up in the new year and can't wait to continue serving all the amazing people and dogs in our community and beyond.

"HE JUST WANTS TO SAY HI!"

This big guy was an unleashed dog out on the trails that enjoyed greeting every person and dog he came across - unfortunately this meant his owner was of less importance in these scenarios and had no control over his curiosity. Curiosity that could land him in hot water.

When DIESEL first came to us, the idea of him eventually being off-leash reliable was met with "my dog?! Ha, we'll see".

By the end of our 5 sessions, he was not only off-leash reliable but the relationship between him and his owner was thriving. They were more in tune, relaxed and happy.

Honestly, the joy we saw from his owner as they learned and grew together was so awesome to witness.

This is why we do what we do. It's for the dogs, yes. But it's really for the people too.

HOLD 'EM TO IT.

EMI came to us to help with her reactivity. When she was faced with dogs in her vicinity and not allowed to meet them, she presented with a strong fearful/excited reaction - cue the scream.

Her prey drive towards birds, squirrels and chipmunks was also problematic for her family. They found her world became smaller as they avoided taking her places due to the above.

We're happy to report that EMI has made a full 180 and is now a dog her family can take along on every adventure, big or small.

Tiny dogs are capable of big things, we just need to convince them as such.

Way to go EMI! SO PROUD 🥲

HAPPY MONDAY from ARES 😈

Loved, loved, loved working with this gorgeous guy. ARES completed our program and made an amazing transformation by the end of it.

From an out of control, pushy goof ball to a dog who truly enjoyed working with you - it's always so nice to see dogs learn to funnel their drive and energy into the right things without conflict.

Really proud of this guy and it was lots of fun having RAWLY's younger twin around 😂
