Just a few more donations needed to cover medical expenses for Ace! (not pictured)

🆘 Urgent Help Needed – For our Shepherds! 🆘
We are once again sending out our heartfelt plea for help. 💔
Update : 750$ raised so far!!

Sadly, we still haven’t raised enough donations to cover Ace’s hospitalization bill of $2,127.63. We know it’s a big amount, but every little bit helps us get closer to our goal. 🙏

Today, we were also asked to take in two 5-month-old German Shepherd puppies from a local SPCA. Without funds, we simply can’t help them.

Many shelters reach out to us because of our specialization with the breed — but without your support, our hands are tied. 🐾

Malheureusement, nous n’avons toujours pas réuni la somme nécessaire pour couvrir la facture d’hospitalisation d’Ace, qui s’élève à 2 127,63 $.

C’est un montant important, nous en sommes conscients, mais chaque petit don compte et nous rapproche de notre objectif. 🙏

En parallèle, nous venons de recevoir une demande urgente de la SPCA pour deux chiots Berger allemand de 5 mois. Sans fonds, nous ne pouvons malheureusement pas leur offrir la chance qu’ils méritent.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! 🎃👻

We hope everyone has a safe and exciting Halloween (regardless of the weather 🙃☔).

For dogs, seeing people in costumes might be a lot to take in BUT if your dog is in the right place with their training and mindset, it's also an amazing opportunity to proof what they know. Place training, heeling skills, obedience..make use of the extra distractions and challenge your dog!

Be smart, keep both your dog and others safe and enjoy what the day and night has to offer 🌙

Ares is a stunning 3 years old Dutch Shepherd x Malinois with brains, energy, and a heart that belongs entirely to his person. He is vaccinated and neutered.

This boy is incredibly smart and thrives when he has a job to do; whether it’s playing tug, training in obedience, chasing a frisbee, or going for a swim. He’s athletic, driven, and versatile, but also has a silly, goofy side that will keep you smiling.

Ares is a total velcro dog. He’ll follow you from room to room and loves being part of whatever you’re doing. He's always down for cuddles. He’s reliable off-leash with an e-collar and loves adventures where he can run, explore, and just be your shadow.
He’s not the most social pup with other dogs, but with time and the right neutral, stable companion, he can coexist peacefully. Around people, he’s aloof at first, but once he chooses you, you’ll have a loyal partner for life.

Ares would thrive in an active, experienced home that can keep his mind and body busy. He’s the kind of dog who’s always ready for the next challenge and he’ll give you his whole heart in return.

Ares est un superbe Berger Hollandais de 4 ans, intelligent, plein d’énergie, avec un cœur entièrement dévoué à son humain. Il est vacciné et castré.

Ce chien est incroyablement intelligent et s’épanouit lorsqu’il a un travail à faire – que ce soit jouer à tirer, s'entraîner en obéissance, attraper un frisbee ou aller nager. Athlétique, motivé et polyvalent, il a aussi un côté drôle et un peu clown qui vous fera sourire au quotidien.

Ares est un vrai "chien-velcro" : il vous suit partout et adore faire partie de tout ce que vous faites. Il est toujours partant pour des câlins. Fiable en liberté avec un collier électronique, il adore les aventures où il peut courir, explorer et rester dans votre ombre.

Ce n’est pas le chien le plus sociable avec ses congénères, mais avec du temps et un compagnon stable et neutre, une cohabitation paisible est possible. Avec les humains, il est un peu distant au départ, mais une fois qu’il vous a choisi, c’est un partenaire loyal pour la vie.

Meet OPIE 🩵

This young pup proved to be a handful for his family so they reached out for some training help. When it comes to raising a dog, (especially a working breed) it's so important to guide them appropriately right from the get-go to have things go as smoothly as possible.

Fortunately for OPIE, he got just that! It was so amazing to see his family learn how to lead, provide the right outlets and properly play with their dog.

Their bond grew immensely and they are now able to enjoy his company without feeling frustrated or overwhelmed. This unlocked the ability to take him more places and give him more freedom - safely & confidently.

Way to go OPIE! 👏🩵

Falkor... Just kidding, it's MO! This guy came to us for a Program this summer and quickly became a favourite to have around.

We love how each dog has their own unique personalities and it's so much fun watching them evolve as they learn!

🌿 You Are Not Alone 🌿

Losing a beloved pet is one of the hardest journeys we face. The grief is real, and it deserves a safe place to be felt, spoken, and honoured.

We’re opening our hearts and doors once again with a Pet Loss Support Group, where you can gather with others who understand.

📅 First Meeting: Thursday, October 2nd - THIS THURSDAY
🕕 Time: 6:00 – 7:00 pm
📍 Location: Malcolm, Deavitt & Binhammer Funeral Home — 141 Renfrew Street, Pembroke
🍵 Details: Free to attend. Refreshments will be served.

Meetings will continue on the first Thursday of every month.

GHOST came to us to find his enthusiasm! For such a young puppy, this little guy is super chill. Though when he wanted to kick it up a notch on his terms, he was capable of bringing the drive and energy.

When it came to training, his family found it hard to pull the excitement and enthusiasm for training that they were seeing in other situations.

With a few tweaks (clear marker system & definitions, proper luring, active dog > active handler) we were able to build him up and put the pep in his step!

Such an absolute cutie and it was great to see him open up and begin to understand what was being asked of him 👏🙌
