Hi,

Happy New Year!

I just wanted to say thank you for supporting Furry Friends Pet Services for the past couple of years.

Your support is giving me the opportunity to continue providing quality pet care to the local community.

With any business, it goes through changes. My business is now called Furry Friends Animal Care. The reason for this change is to be more inclusive, to provide care to more animals than just cats and dogs. (Ex. bunnies, hamsters, guinea pigs, farm animals, etc.)

My new business page is still in the works. Once it is finished, I will send the new link to my page. For any services going forward, you can contact me through text message at 343-544-8923 until Messenger is set up for my new page.

For all future payments, please send payment to my new email [email protected]. I will still send bills to clients before I receive payment.

For my loyal clients, here is a free 1/2 walk for your dog and/or a check-in for your pet. Also, if you refer a new client to my business, I will offer another free 1/2 walk or check-in. Please note the client referral can only be someone in the Deep River/Chalk River community.

If there are any changes to these dates. I will update the post. Please note I can still offer to check in on your pet's into the evening on the dates booked.

We are so excited that we are able to offer a 2 day Spay/Neuter clinic brought to you by the Ontario SPCA Mobile Animal Wellness Service - August 26-27th at the Petawawa Legion.
In an effort to assist more communities, The Animal Wellness Services has made some exciting changes to the way it delivers these services. This service will now be delivered “MASH” style. These portable outreach events are designed to be easily packed up and transported to wherever they are needed.
In addition, all registration for this clinic will be IN PERSON and CASH ONLY paid in advance on only one day; August 8 from 10-2 at the Petawawa legion.
Please refer to the poster below for all details.
We anticipate an overwhelming response to this clinic and have a capacity of 50 appointments. Your advance onsite registration and CASH payment will reserve your cats appointment for clinic day.
Ontario SPCA Renfrew County Animal Centre office is not able to take bookings or payments for this clinic. (NO EXCEPTIONS)
Admins for this page will attempt to answer or direct your questions if you send them to our page by Private Message.

Hi,

See below the dates available for overnight pet sitting in August. The dates with the bone icon are booked. If any of these dates change, I will update the post.

However, if your pet does not require overnight care, I offer multiple check-ins through the day and into the evening. Some dates that are not available for check-ins are:

🐶 August 5th and 6th
🐶 August 25th, 26th, and 27th

LOLA HAS BEEN WAITING OVER A YEAR FOR A FAMILY OF HER OWN 🥺

Female
Appx 3yrs old
Spayed, microchipped, core vaccines up to date
Dogs - selective. Recommend only dog home
Cats/small animals - no
Children - 12 plus
Home - needs active home. A few walks won't keep this girl happy. Well suited as a running partner, scent dog, maybe agility or dock diving. If she's not busy she gets bored and unhappy.
Crate Trained - yes
House trained - yes
Breed - described as a mini lab in appearance but we don't know her mix. She's quite small.

Lola didn't have an easy start in Canada, however she has had plenty of time and opportunity to fully decompress and she's showing us all her goofy, fun side. She's ready for a family all her own.

Lola is a happy fun loving girl. She definitely needs an active adopter. Preferably someone serious about sport/scent. This girl is happiest when she's working and she's really smart.

She’s quiet in her crate, and LOVES place - she’ll put herself in place and start snoring. Lola knows her name, sit & lie down, but still requires work on her focus and leash skills in highly stimulating situations. Lola is working on her recall and should not be loose in an unsecured area at this time. Long-line exploration walks have been great for Lola. Mental stimulation, plenty of play, continued training and enrichment will continue to help her keep growing into a delightful companion. Lola would be best suited to a single dog, calm household as she can be dog selective. Through careful management she has been able to socialize with some known dogs. With dogs she enjoys play but she prefers to use her nose. So when she's done playing with a dog friend she will warn them away.

Good morning everyone!

Good morning,

It is a fairly busy year and I haven't had the chance to post in a while.

At the beginning of the year, I had to make the decision to implement a price increase on all of my services. This had to be done in order to sustain the business.

In the past couple of months, I had to re-evaluate how much I am charging for one of the services, the quick check-in. The quick check-in is letting your dog out for a bathroom break, providing food and water and any other duties required. There is no walk included in this service. For cats, it is feeding and cleaning their litter box. As this service is now taking more time to complete and is barely covering expenses, the price of the quick check-in will now be $14 per visit. The price increase will take effect on June 1st, 2023.

All other services (dog walking and pet sitting) will stay at their current price unless otherwise posted.

I want to thank everyone who follows and chooses Furry Friends as their go-to for pet services. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to call, message or e-mail me.

If anyone is looking for overnight pet sitting, there are some dates open for the month of March.

See the list of dates available for overnight pet sitting services:

March 5th to March 9th
March 19th to March 20th
March 30th to March 31st

If this option is not suitable for your pet, I still offer overnight sitting at the client's house. If I cannot stay overnight, I can come by to check-in on your pet with visits during the day and evening.
