Spaying and neutering your pets prevents unplanned litters and helps reduce the number of homeless animals in shelters. These procedures can also lead to healthier pets, reduce the risk of certain cancers, and prevent unwanted behaviors like spraying and roaming.

A Change in Grooming Services at Our Port Dover Location

We want to take a moment to express our sincere appreciation for Pam and Hair of the Dog Grooming. While she will no longer be grooming at our Port Dover location, we’re happy to share that she continues to serve pets and their families at her Waterford location:

For those looking for continued grooming services, we also have a groomer available at our Delhi location. Feel free to reach out if you need assistance finding the best option for your pet!

In the meantime, we have exciting plans in store for the space Pam previously occupied. Construction is starting immediately, and while we can’t reveal too much just yet… let’s just say big things are coming! Stay tuned for updates! 🐾✨

🌬️❄️ Here Comes the Cold! ❄️🌬️

With extreme cold temperatures settling in, keeping our furry friends safe and warm is crucial. Pets are just as vulnerable to frostbite and hypothermia as we are, so let’s make sure they’re protected during this cold snap:

🐾 Limit Outdoor Time – Take shorter walks and monitor your pets closely. If it’s too cold for you, it’s too cold for them!

🐾 Bundle Up – Consider a cozy sweater or jacket for dogs, especially short-haired breeds.

🐾 Check the Paws – Cold pavement, ice, and salt can damage paw pads. Wipe their paws after walks and use pet-safe de-icer if needed.

🐾 Provide Warm Shelter – Keep your pets indoors as much as possible. If you have outdoor animals, ensure they have a warm, insulated shelter away from the wind.

🐾 Keep Them Hydrated – Pets still need plenty of fresh water in winter to stay healthy.
