Calving 2025 is Underway! 🐮

🥶 As luck would have it, calving season always seems to start on the coldest days of the year! We’re grateful for our calving barn to keep the little ones warm and cozy — It makes calving in this weather a bit more tolerable!

The kids are already having fun, naming the first arrivals Buck and Joker! 🥰 They sure love the new babies! Here’s to another season of late nights, early mornings, and healthy calves (hopefully)! Stay warm out there, friends!

Nothing beats sunny January days! Our commercial herd is loving the milder weather these past couple of days, soaking up the sun and enjoying a little reprieve from the chill. Here’s to more beautiful winter moments like this!

🎅 We had a wonderful time at the Colborn Farms Christmas party! Started the night with some fun at Urban Golf and then enjoyed a delicious supper at the Brewhouse in Hampton. Lots of laughs, great food, and even better company! ⭐️

From the fields of Colborn Farms to the hearts of everyone who knows him, Grandpa has been a pillar of strength, wisdom, and kindness. His passion for farming, family, and community has shaped generations and left a legacy that will carry on for years to come.

Here’s to a man who’s seen it all, from horse-drawn plows to modern combines, yet his steadfast dedication and love for the land have never changed. 🚜💚

We are so blessed to have Grandpa’s stories, laughter, and guidance in our lives. Let’s all come together to honor this remarkable man and the 100 years of memories he’s given us.

👨‍🎓 Nick has been accepted into the Business Diploma Program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. He’s been actively involved in his family farm and is volunteering at Pro-Tax Consultants, where he is gaining valuable knowledge in farm related accounting and bookkeeping! We wish you all the best!
