Andrew is a certified dog trainer through the Animal Behaviour Collage and plenty of experience with all breeds of dogs through working with various shelters and his own rescue foster dogs. He believes in and practices positive reinforcement training. This method is treat and praise based and does not use fear or pa

in to train a dog. A dog should do a behaviour because they want to, not because they are afraid if they don't! Andrew will create a training plan that is tailored around your dogs unique needs. His goal is to create a fun and enjoyable experience for you and your dog. Further, he aims to not only produce well trained and happy dogs, but to reinforce the bond between owner and dog as well as to create a clear form of communication between the two. Andrew enjoys teaches basic obedience but he also loves helping dogs with behavioural issues. That is where he makes the most difference as helping families work through their dog's behavioural issues helps keeps dogs out of shelters and in their forever homes. Mallory handles the books and is the training centre's go to for dog nutritional advice! Andrew and Mallory are also certified in Pet First Aid through Walks n Wags

Join us in celebrating our boy Odin’s 4th Birthday! Odin bursts into daycare each day, radiating love and warmth. While he enjoys a fun pawty with his friends, he also treasures long snuggles with the handlers, and we are always happy to oblige!💖With his kind eyes and sweet smile, Odin’s silly, quirky personality brings us so much joy. Our Basic Obedience class is designed to teach you all of the cues you need for a well behaved dog. This course covers everything; sit, down, stay, place, greetings, recall, loose leash walking and more! However the biggest benefit to a group class is that we are practicing in a distracting yet controlled environment. We hear all the time that Fido knows how to sit, come etc in the house, but as soon as you're outside, he doesn't listen! Here's the thing, unless you practice with distractions, you can not expect them to listen in those environments! It's like asking a kid to take a test in an amusement park 🤣
There are some spots left in the Thursday 630pm class and the Saturday 1145am class starting this week!

Puppy Preschool! 10wks to 15wks old
This class is designed specifically for our youngest pups to help them (and their family) get off to the best start pawsible!
The goal of Puppy Preschool is to socialize your pup and teach you how to properly introduce your puppy to this big scary human world! Proper socialization and desensitization to new sights, sounds, smells, people and other dogs are key for a puppy’s development. If these things are not done correctly (or not at all), it can cause serious behavioural issues in the future.
We will also help you navigate through those pesky puppy behaviours like nipping, chewing, jumping up and cover topics such as separation anxiety and house training.
Lastly, we will also cover desensitization to husbandry skills like brushing, teeth cleaning and nail trimming.
Puppies are hard! Let us help!

What is the Training Trifecta?! The Training Trifecta is the main skills every owner wants to master with their dog: Recall, Loose Leash Walking and Impulse Control.
These 3 skills are critical for keeping your dog calm, happy and safe all while making your life easier!
In this class, you will learn the importance of impulse control to prevent/stop jumping and help your dogs be calmer inside and outside around more distractions. You will also learn the ins and outs of creating a reliable recall and having your dog walk nicely on leash.
These skills will be learned through fun activities and games designed to strengthen the dog-owner relationship. This allows our dogs to see us as fun causing them to be more engaged, eager to learn, and giving them freedom to be “dogs”.
Training Trifecta is a perfect next step after Puppy Kindergarten, if you want to fine tune skills after Basic Obedience or if your dog is over 6months of age and you are wanting help in these 3 areas.
