We support people and their pets in Delta, British Columbia. The goal of the shelter is to support the animals emotionally and physically while they await their new home! We want to ensure the animals and the public are safe in our community.

What better way to celebrate the holidays, then to bring in a new and furry bundle of joy!? At 10 weeks old, our Christmas kittens are now ready to leave their nest and move on to bigger and better things!

Their momma, Mrs Claws, did a wonderful job raising them, as all of the kittens are social and sweet! They love to run around and chase each other, play with toys, scale the highest towers and of course wrestle! When they aren't being crazy kittens, they'll usually be found snuggled up in one big cuddle puddle!

2 amazing kiddos stopped in to visit with the animals yesterday, and also brought with them some holiday donations. What a great example of kindness, compassion and generosity!

600 days later and Ariel is STILL living at the shelter with no home prospects.. She's watched many animals come and go in her time and can't quite figure it out.. why not her? 😥

So this year she has only one thing on her Christmas wish list.. a home for the holidays! Santa may have failed her last year.. but it's YOU who can make her wishes come true! She's been such a good girl all year and we can't think of anyone more deserving.

Have you ever seen such a good looking pair!?

Meet ARCHIE and DELLA! 😻😻

These two house mates came to us from an overcrowded home and were extremely fearful and weary. It has taken quite some time to gain their trust, but slowly they have come out of their shells!

ARCHIE is a handsome ginger boy, with looks too hard to resist! He can come across a little stand-offish at times and may try to intimidate you with little hiss, but not to fret! He's actually quite the softy when he's comfortable. The best way to his heart will always be with food - temptations and treat tubes will have you besties in no time.

DELLA is a petite, torbie princess with fur as soft as a cloud! She has been very unsure of her place here at the shelter, but with some TLC and the support from her brother, she has started to come around! Gentle head scratches are they best way to her heart and catnip doesn't hurt either 😉

These two are looking for a calm, quiet and understanding home to allow them to open up and be their true selves! Della seeks comfort in her brother, so for her sake we would love to find them a home together.. but we would also be open to separate homes - as long as they each had some other feline support!

ADOPTION UPDATE! 🤍

'Eba', formerly known as 'Prince', who was adopted a few short weeks ago, has been doing amazingly well in his new home. His adopter reports he goes to work with him every day and absolutely loves meeting new people. He sleeps all the way from 8pm to 5am every night and is quite lazy in the mornings despite that! They are thrilled to have each other and are absolutely loving life together! 🤍

And just like that.. SUGAR is home for the holidays!! 🎄

His adopters had seen his most recent acting debut and knew straight away they needed to come meet the infamous character himself! It was love at first sight, and after spending hours playing with him, it was inevitable they were all a perfect match!

Yesterday was the big day, and Sugar was as ready as ever to leave the shelter life behind! We all watched as he strut his stuff down the hall and all the way out of the building one last time (while on his leash and harness!) What a sight! 😍

We are ELATED for Sugar and his new family and can't wait to hear all the updates to come! Happy Adoption! ❤

SUGAR is everything you could ever want and more!

He's full of beans and loves to play, whether that be with new toys, tug of war, or just carrying balls around in his mouth! This wild child is also quite the smart cookie and loves his food puzzles. Treats are LIFE for him, making him a good trick training candidate!

If that hasn't convinced you that Sugar is secretly a dog... here's the best part of all - he loves to go on leash walks and is social with everyone he meets (dogs and bunnies alike!)

ADOPTION UPDATE! ❤

Puss & Boots (formerly known as Demi & Courtney) were officially adopted in October and we simply couldn't get over these adorable update photos!

They were born in shelter and after months of growing and socializing, they went into their foster to adopt home! There, they instantly thrived and took over their palace like the true princesses they are! 👑

They have already grown up to be such beautiful little ladies, and we couldn't be happier to see them so loved and spoiled! 🥰

PATRICK: A Day In The Life! 🐰 Check out this adorable video compilation of one of our long-term adoptable bunnies PATRICK! One of our lovely staff members took Patrick home to foster and give him some much needed time away from the shelter, in hopes to show just how wonderful pet rabbits can be! Since being in her care, Patrick has flourished into a whole new bunny! He used to be somewhat shy and independent, but now with each day he’s becoming so very social and curious and wants to be were the people are! He’ll eat from hands now and fall asleep while being groomed in a lap. Now that he’s settled and doing so well, his foster family plans to start teaching him tricks to showcase his intelligence! As happy as Patrick is in his foster, it is only meant as a temporary situation while he waits for his FOREVER home. This poor guy has spent not one.. but TWO years now in shelter and would love nothing more then to have his turn at a loving home! JADE UPDATE... ❤ It's been a couple of weeks now since this beautiful gal made the journey on the ferry to Victoria and right on into her new foster home! Her foster family sent some photos and videos, and as you can tell she's truly living her best life with the resident doggo, who has become her new best friend! Having a large fenced yard is just what this gal needed to let loose and burn off some of that ever lasting husky energy!
