So excited for this sweet 3 year old!! 🦊
This is my own colt that I’ve started and trained. Fox came to me around this time last year and to be completely honest I was not sure he was the best investment 🤣 I was not looking to purchase a 2 yr old grade sorrel but our paths crossed and he ended up in my pasture. I was not sure what he was going to turn into but I figured I could at the very least get him started and find him the kind of home he deserves.
Well almost a year later this horse has turned into such a gem!! This horse is quiet, sensible, thoughtful, and so inquisitive. He has taken everything I’ve thrown at him like an old seasoned pro.
I am most excited about is his now happy ending. Thankfully to the community of Wildflower Riding Club, Fox found @brookelingnau and they are both smitten with each other. This horse deserves someone who’s fun, adventurous, and who’s going to love him to death and he has found exactly that!
I’m so excited to watch this pair grow and go on all sorts of adventures. Congrats Brooke for adding a new member to your family! ♥️🦊♥️

This week I lost my horse who I love with my whole heart.
I won’t go into detail but it was a very sudden and traumatic situation and I had to make one of the hardest decisions of my life very quickly.
Part of the lifestyle and the connection we have with these incredible creatures is acknowledging that one day they are going to have to depart from this earth.
My message to you all is that we are not guaranteed tomorrow. Same with our horses. Of course we don’t want to think about loosing them but having a plan in case a sudden situation comes up is SO important.
Also.. enjoying every single ride and moment with your horse is just as important. Even when it gets frustrating and tough.. let your horse know how much they mean to you because you never know when your last ride may be.
I know many of you have gone through this and understand.. but I wanted to share some of the lessons I am learning to hopefully help someone else some day.
Thank you to all who have reached out to me in the past couple of days regarding Sir Galahad. They all mean so much. I am grieving in my own way but am also re living all the incredible moments and experiences I had with him and others as well. ♥️
Pete and Luke giving each other some good scratches 😂 cheeky morgans!
#throwback speed test with Peter in Cochrane ♥️
Was a really fun course with lots of short/challenging lines between obstacles.

Friends first, the rest later 😌
This horse and I have had a really thick week in the arena. We are nearing our end of our time together so I want to make sure he’s over prepared for his new job/owner. I wouldn’t say I have been hard on him but I have definitely heightened my expectations and he’s been struggling a little bit. I felt we both needed a day to re kindle our friendship so I took him on a little hack yesterday before we dove into work.
Wow did it ever make a difference in how he felt. After just taking 15 mins to go out on the trail alone with no expectations we came back to the barn and worked on the things he was struggling with and I noticed two things… he was 1-more willing to try for me and 2-way softer in the bit.
What a humbling reminder that horses don’t have an agenda like we do. They simply reflect us and what we are presenting to them. Sometimes I know I don’t like what I see but it’s so important to remember that it’s very rarely the horses fault. It’s so easy to get caught up in our “job” or our goals with our horses but we can’t forget to prioritize maintaining a positive relationship with them ❤️

WE L4 Dressage Test from today!
Peter, Luce and I had so much fun today riding our dressage tests.
This ride was definitely not best but I have been really focusing on increasing our impulsion and hitting our points at accurately as possible. I feel we have made some improvements which is what it is all about 🥰
Now time to get our leg yield and collected canter transitions more sharp!
So proud of this little dude. He’s slowly turning into quite the monument!
Big shout out to my super cool aunt Niki for video taping and helping me out today. It is so appreciated ❤️
Saturday Vibes 😁 here’s some kiddie pool fun!
Spent the last little over 3 months turning this horse into a solid trail mount for his new owner.
We have packed on miles in the mountains, rode in groups, rode alone, and we even got chased by a bull moose!!! 🤣
I am so proud of this little dude. He took everything that was thrown at him like a champ. I will be crying like a baby when he gets on the trailer and begins his journey home to Ontario 🥺❤️
Happy Trails Vegas! Until we meet again ❤️
Pistol Pete and I took our final ride last night at the Calgary Stampede
I’m so honoured. My coaches, family, friends and mentors you all know who you are- thank you. You supported me through my train wreck moments and in moments like this one. Thank you.
Pistol Pete you know you are a rockstar. What a crazy ride we have had. Thank you

Rain, snow, or shine Tucker is always excited to go for a ride! ❤️🥺
This boy goes home in less than a week and I am super happy with his progress this month. I will get some videos of him in action so you can see how fun of a horse he is! 🤪
