We think it’s time to bring back 🎃Norman’s Spooktacular October 🦇!

This year, Norman wants to see your pet’s Spooktacular costume! 👻 Send us a picture or even better, come visit Norman in person! 🐱 and we won’t keep all the cuteness to ourselves… we’ll share pictures daily until Halloween. (As long as they aren’t too scary 🙀 you know… like a costume involving nail clippers… we don’t want to traumatize anyone!)

This is the latest announcement and update on the new requirements for travelling to the USA with your dogs as of August 1 st 2024.

To provide greater flexibility to the requirements for dogs coming from dog rabies-free or low-risk countries, when the rule goes into effect on August 1, 2024 [at 12:00am ET], dogs that have spent the prior six months only in dog rabies-free or low-risk rabies countries will be able to enter the United States with a CDC Import Form online submission receipt as acceptable documentation. This form can be filled out the day of travel and the receipt can be shown to airlines and border officials as a printed copy or by phone. The receipt will be good for travel into the U.S. for six months from the date of issuance, including multiple entries. All dogs entering the United States must have a microchip and be over six months of age.

It’s going to be a very hot week folks. If it’s hot for you, it will be even hotter for your pets.
Best plan is to keep them indoors while it is very hot outside. And for goodness sakes, do not leave them in your vehicle unattended.

Your pets want to be with you. They will be safer and cooler inside with you, where they can spend their time doing what they do best: being your best friend and companion.
