The Liesse Animal Clinic is a full service veterinary facility for dogs, cats and small family pets. Our mission is to help you keep your pets healthy.

Established in 1950, we were the first veterinary facility to open in the west island of Montreal. Our staff is dedicated to treating your pets with dignity, kindness and love. Regular examinations, adequate diets and the use of various products are our main focus to prevent diseases in your healthy animal. Various treatments and surgeries are all expertly performed on site when other diseases do occur.

As part of its annual brunch, held in Saint-Hyacinthe on April 12, the Société de conservation du patrimoine vétérinaire québécois (SCPVQ) added the Liesse Veterinary Clinic to the prestigious list of Quebec’s heritage veterinary establishments. By designating the Liesse Veterinary Clinic as a heritage veterinary establishment, the SCPVQ wishes to pay tribute to the veterinarians who contributed to its opening and its evolution over time. It also wishes to highlight the work of these professionals who, today, ensure the continuity of this precious legacy by providing quality care to the animals in their community. It should be noted that the Liesse Veterinary Clinic was founded exactly 75 years ago by Dr. William James Langill and is currently owned by Dr. Beatriz Gomes and Dr. Sophia Skoulikas.

When Sophia was a little girl, her dream was to be a superhero. It took her sometime to realize her dream but she can now say that she is a superhero to her little furry friends.

Alex spent some time learning criminology, shadowing dentists and doctors, and finally she found her true passion: helping animals and their caregivers.

Lorsque Sofia était enfant, son rêve était de devenir une super-héros. Elle a travailler fort pour y arriver et peut maintenant se considérer comme la super-héros de tous nos petits amis à fourrure.

Alex is one of our certified animal health technician. And Shak is a tech student!

✨Fun fact about Alex: She spent some time learning criminology, shadowing dentists and doctors, and finally she found her true passion: helping animals and their caregivers.

✨Fun fact about Shak: Shak’s love for animals was not known up until a few years ago. Spending most of his time in computer science he grew bored, looking for a new career path he decided to volunteer at a shelter for a month and slowly began to realize his passion for helping animals!
