It’s impossible to tell you how this career path has been everything to me. It helped define me as a person, a mother (believe it or not), but most importantly, an artist. As that is what I believe grooming really is … animal artistry.

Kindness, compassion and patience. These are the core traits you have to have to be a groomer. To love every animal while working to make them as beautiful or handsome as you can - while also knowing when comfort is more important that looks sometimes. When an old friend is tired and just needs you to help them feel clean and loved.

Words can not express how I will truly miss Grooming, but it's time for a change in my life. My passion for animals will never waver but it’s time for me to hang up my scissors and start on my new adventure.

I can’t thank you all enough for trusting me with the care of you beloved pets over these 23 years, and the last 7 in Drayton Valley as owner of TLC Pet Grooming. I appreciate your loyalty all these years and making my job so enjoyable. I've come to know you all so well and love your pets like they were my own.

For some people they will never completely understand how important their pets have become to me over the years - and the clients who I consider amazing friends.

So I guess it’s “see ya later, not goodbye” as I turn this page.

Hard to believe it’s only 1 week and 4 days remaining til CHRISTMAS!

The month December is most often the busiest month of year for us groomers so please book early to avoid disappointment!

Please confirm your scheduled appointments or reschedule 48 hours ahead of time. We have a wait list and can fill these spots. Also know that without 48 hours notice you will be charged full price for your groom. Of course we will be understanding of illness or extenuating circumstances!

Can’t wait to see all your Furballs and get them fabulous for Christmas!!!

Charlie has been coming for his haircuts for 9 years.
