A common sight in our house right now🥰 Last Friday, we were blessed with a Baby Girl!!!💕💕💕

We are so in love and soaking up all the baby snuggles. The dogs are so interested in this new squeaky addition to the family😊 Thank you to all of you that sent encouraging messages the last couple months, it meant alot🤍

It doesn't take long for me to adjust to change, but that doesn't mean I always enjoy the adjustment period, no matter how long or short it may be.
How to say goodbye to an era of my life that changed me so much? My job gave me so much more than just an income. I love all the people and dogs so incredibly much. I don't know what I will do not seeing them regularly.

However, I thank God for the opportunities I've been given through my time at Arrowhead. Knowledge gained, friends and family obtained, clients and dogs that wormed their way into my heart, the fun 'easy' days, the long taxing days...thankful for all of it.

Also super excited about the next stage in life so....🤰🤩

I should count how many times in a day I chuckle at or wonder what in the world is going through my dog's brains😄
I love how expressive dogs are with both their eyes and body language. I never get tired of watching them and am in continued awe of how God created them.🤍

Also anytime I sit to let my pregnant self rest they take it upon themselves to sit and stare at me....trying to make me feel guilty? Lol

I have the biggest love/hate relationship with Canadian March. I always say spring is my favorite season...I think it still is, but the getting to spring part is a real patience tester.

The snow comes and goes, weather is warm and cold, my husband starts working longer hours, our yard is a muddy mess which means my house is a stinky, dirty, wet mess 🐾. I want to be outside cause the sun is nice but I know all those little paws will need to be washed and dried before running in the house(potty training sucks). In short, I go a little batty.

So tonight, to keep myself from going insane after the 10th day of being sick and virtually having zero energy to do anything, I drove 5 min to watch the sunset over the lake. I sit and watch the sun dissappear and thank God that the sun rises and sets and with that I have renewed hope that my beloved spring will indeed come. Congrats on making it this far into my rambling thoughts.

Best way to start the day is by waking up and feeding all the animals😁

Working on Jasper's 'stay' and 'come' in an open field with lots of distractions. It's so important to get them to listen in all sorts of environments. Such a good boy!😊

Leave it. I recorded this for a client that was having trouble with their pup picking everything off the sidewalk. That's not what we want at all🧐 1. Tone is huge. As controversial as this is I believe dogs are tough enough to take a firm voice from us once in a while. 2. Patience and practice😊

Daisy goes to her forever home this week so we are practicing her paces super hard. She needs to follow my pace no matter how fast or slow and she needs to stop and sit when I stop...no matter how long or short I stop. She is acing it when it comes to this test😁😁

Mondays are often a clean up day and reset from the weekend around here. Washing in and around their crates, doing laundry and resetting for the week.

Taz and I got our walk in this morning before the rain came. So much easier to leash train in the summer! . . #training #leashtrain #spring

This afternoon's "Leave it" session. Z can do it when I just drop the treat in his lap.(experienced pro;) Today is Ace's first day that I can leave the treat uncovered or out of my hand in front of him and he leaves it!!👏😁 . . Note how I never let them take the treat off the floor but instead I always pick it up? This is because I need them to know when I say leave it they are not allowed to.touch unless I hand it to them. This will save them eating socks, dropped food etc.

Tonight's supper served on an oven grate and in a shuffle mat! Oven grate to get their toes used to different surfaces, shuffle mat because it's a great way to exercise their brains! . .#training #foodtime

I need to get a tripod for my phone...not so great at the one handed for two pups thing🤦‍♀️ . .in other news they are both doing fantastic with down stays. Smart little peanuts😁 #tailoredpaws #training #smartdogs
