Our Story
I have lived in the Duffield area since 1995 and I have had horses since 2009. I started this business in 2015 from my home. It started out as me just making a nice pad for my daughter, as she complained that there were very few nice ,bright ,fun saddle pads for western horse riders unless you go with the thick Navajo blankets which are okay,
So I started making Western pads and Received so many compliments that I started selling them at farmers markets in and around the Stony Plain and Spruce Grove areas.
Since that time,I have done my research into what the recommended thickness of Western pads should be. I have talked to saddle fitters about thickness and researched on what safe materials to use. I have slowly expanded my knowledge and added more saddle pads to my line up. I have made over 200 saddle pads and sold over 100 of that number to clients all over Canada and into the US. I have donated to Stars, bright wood ranch (hope for kids) Fort Mac Murray horse barn donations and the Thorsby Girls Gymkhana club.
My line up includes all western riding styles as well as all English riding styles. I am always open and willing to work with the customer on new ideas or styles of pad. With new items being added every year from saddle seat savers ,stirrup covers, polo wraps. bit warmers, saddle covers and bags, some handmade jewelry some ordered in.watches, key chains, aromatherapy, socks.bookmarks, bandannas, dog ties and bow ties as well as bandannas. I pride myself on quality NOT quantity..Each pad is unique and one of a kind tailored to you. Most often the fabrics used are vintage from estate sales. regular fabric ordered in is usually done in 1-2 yard lengths only
I am proud to be licensed to sell by the yardage or make from the fabric all moonshine camouflaged prints in Canada. I also offer rhinestones for pad decoration.Need extra fill or a size not listed ..no problem, just message me and let me know what you need.
