How do I even share this news. I know my clients and followers know that 2025 has had dark clouds and heartbreak in my life. As I try to support all my amazing clients, I realize this year how thankful I am of your continued support.

Sadly I have to ask for your continued patience. This past weekend I lost my grandfather. My grandfather was the heartbeat of my family. His laughter was what healed us and his advice has supported us through our lives.

My grandfather was a Registered Professional Forester that was in charge of seeds and the nursery at the Duncan Nursery. He helped map out some of the Cowichan Valley trail throughout the valley back when it was being built. I now adventure where he got to work many moons ago. His love of being surrounded by trees was definitely passed down to me.

I am working as usual because my schedule has been affected so much by my heartache already. But please know my energy is low. I don't have much more to give for extra conversations and I am behind in administration work. On the trails with the dogs is where I feel at home tho. So that's where I will be.

Thank you for your continued patience. If I can offer one piece of advice after this year I have had. Slow things down and tell your loved ones you love them as much as you possibly can. Also love on your fur babies every chance you can.
