Areas of service include the City of Campbell River, Town of Ladysmith, North Cowichan, City of Duncan, CVRD, and the Regional District of Nanaimo.

Found: Sadly a deceased intact male Orange Tabby and white cat was dropped off here at the shelter. The cat was found on Cliffs Road by the school today. No T # or chip. Call the office if he is yours 250-748-3395

FOUND- This cat has been hanging around a property on Chesterfield ave in Duncan since June 4th. Has a tattoo in its ear, finder is not able to read it. I have looked through our lost files and nothing has come up. If this cat belongs to you please let us know 250-748-3395

Message for Campbell River area.

Coastal Animal Control Services of BC will not be renewing our Animal Control services agreement with the City of Campbell River and surrounding areas effective July 1, 2024.

It has been a great honour and privilege to serve the citizens of the greater Campbell River region over the past 11 years, and we would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the City of Campbell River, Strathcona Regional District, the We Wai Kai and Wei Wai K*m First Nations, the RCMP, and local community groups dedicated to the welfare of animals. Your continued support in our common pursuit of public safety, and in promoting responsible pet ownership is deeply appreciated.

The City of Campbell River will be assuming Animal Control duties, and our Officers will be working closely with city staff to ensure a smooth transition of services occurs.

All animal-related bylaw enforcement matters should be directed to the City of Campbell River Bylaw Department as of July 1st, 2024.
