PSA: NEVER apologize for how dirty or wet your dog is coming in to their appointment. It just shows us that they are out there living their best lives and having fun in the dirt. We all love a good before and after 👌

Summer Solstice vibes from these relaxed gals today😎🌞

Us groomers will be following suit over the next few weeks as we take some much needed summer holiday time off.

⚠️The shop will be fully closed from June 28th - July 9th and we will NOT be reachable during these dates.⚠️

We will also be short staffed in the surrounding weeks as I will be out of the country visiting family abroad. Detailed dates are posted on our website homepage as well juliaspetspa.ca

SHED HAPPENS...and it's happening a lot lately!

Heading into the summer we usually see an influx of undercoat and it's super satisfying to remove. The bulk is loosened off in the bath with our undercoat nozzle and then blown out with the forced air dryer. The remainder is brushed, combed and carded out. This is important for the dogs for a number of reasons including temperature regulation in the heat, and allowing the skin to breathe and dry more easily after swimming (preventing hot spots etc.). 🏖🌡☀️🌊

Double coated dogs benefit from grooming too! 💫We love our shedding friends no matter how long or short their coat.

We've got space for more of these in the next few weeks if anyone is sick of vacuuming. 😅

🐾Staff Dogs 🐾

These are the pets we come home to every day smelling like other dogs, always greeted with a smile and wag anyways. Sometimes last in line for grooming, but always first place in our hearts. Merry Christmas Watson, Yoshi, Ulla and Ringo.
