♥️♥️ UPDATE ON THIS MARE ♥️♥️♥️

We are pleased to share that Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary has kindly offered to take this mare in and give her the surgery she requires!

We are so thankful to this organization for helping us out, as we were not able to raise the funds ourselves and would have likely needed to put her down. Now she gets to live a long and happy life in their care 🙏🏻💜

Hard to believe Hopper was an auction horse…tossed aside because he no longer served a purpose for his previous owner.

This OTTB is amazing on the trails, roads, leg washes, ring and even ok with going through the Tims drive thru….

Yes he was in our care for a year waiting for his perfect human.

We are often criticized because we don’t adopt them out fast enough or to the first application…. Instead we watch the horses around the human and how they respond to them. This boy Hopper definitely picked his human.

We are so close to paying off our MARCH hay bill….

This includes the funds we raised yesterday.

Once again we will be cutting it close 😬

Ellie’s been in training and she sure has learned a lot! Look at her now!

ADOPT AMYR 🐴🧡 Amyr is an 8 yrs old gelding and roughly 11 hands. He has a nice confirmation and moves beautifully. He is very smart and loyal to his person but takes awhile to warm up to strangers. He has an amazing memory, which can work for you or against you lol. He needs a patient kind handler. Amyr would be a beautiful cart pony or just fun to play with. He has been in a herd of mares and geldings but does try to be boss if he can. He also has a high play drive. Location: Salmon Arm, BC Adoption fee: $2500

After a thorough grooming, Hopper was calm, and resonating beautifully on a loose lead with Jackie in yesterday’s lesson. Way to go you two!!

Hopper has been returned and once he settled down he enjoyed spending time with Jacqueline one of the volunteers. Mini’s got out for a stroll today thanks to the volunteers 💕

Our poor Captain is still very much stuck in flight mode, despite having been with Angel for the last year. It’s sad to see a horse with this level of fear and to know that his is reaction to the most basic things, most days. #clydesdale #scared #trauma #flightmode #rescuedismyfavoritebreed #horse #horserescue #ittakestime #healingtrauma
