terinary practice is ideal for anxious pets, pets that don't travel well or multiple pet households. It offers the chance to stay with your pet while they are being examined and treated, with focused and supportive veterinary attention for both you and your pet. Sitka Veterinary Services offers:
- Medical diagnostics in the home such as blood tests, urine and f***l analysis, fine needle aspirates and
cytology of lumps and ultrasounds in the home.
- Vaccines and vaccine titre testing
- A complete western medicine pharmacy
- Veterinary Acupuncture and therapeutic laser
- In home euthanasia
- Cremation services
Sitka Veterinary Services will be closed from Friday June 28th until Monday July 1st for the long weekend. We will reopen as usual on Tuesday July 2nd!

Lucky is a 4 month old Border Collie/ Springer Spaniel puppy He didn’t have the best start but he’s living his best life now with his forever home! He was a VERY good for Dr. Holling and can sit like a champ for treats (or pets!)

Meet Cloe. Cloe is one of the most well travelled cats we have ever met! She’s visited every province and I’m sure that everyone who has met her has loved her. I mean, how could they not? She was SUCH a good girl for her acupuncture treatment and solensia injection. Her mom, Brittany, was also fantastic and our honourary veterinary assistant this afternoon!
What a great way to celebrate the end of January! The rest of the Sitka team were jealous that they couldn’t be with Dr. Holling and Kelsey, who got to snuggle with this cutie. It just so happens that Iggy was a fantastic patient, as well as a good lookin’ boy!

Our special patients of the day include Ryn, a 10 week old Australian Cattle dog who was a bundle of joy, and Cleo, a very regal kitty who LOVES fitting her svelte figure into things much smaller than she is 🥰
As we enter into a new year, we reflect on the good times we had, the better times we had, and obviously the best times we had. Clearly Kathleen was having the best time with these little balls of joy! 2023 was a great year, and we look forward to more puppies in 2024!!!

Meet Chance. We got to visit him last Friday, and we must say, he is one HAPPY Golden Retriever! We had such a great afternoon hanging out with him (COULD we even consider it work?!). His tail didn’t stop wagging, even during the hard stuff. Here is some evidence, in case you don’t believe us 😉
This is Georgia, one of Dr. Holling’s dogs! Dr. Begbie has been giving Georgia the vacation of a lifetime at her house to spend time with her family and cats! We at the office get really lucky because every day Georgia gets to be our office assistant 🙂 We love her! While we don’t see any pets at our office normally, it’s nice to have a special treat while Dr. Holling is away 💜
