So, for people who don't understand how hard the pet industry is not just physically but mentally. Please listen to me. We do what we do because we love animals, we build bonds with them, we watch them grow and change and if we get lucky, we can be one of the last people they see before they cross the rainbow bridge. It's an HONOUR.
But we also build bonds with the pet parents. And please believe me, if something happens to you guys it affects us!
This industry is not for the weak. I can't tell you how many ways my heart has been broken...how many animals I've held and cried while they took their last breath because their parent couldnt bare the heartache ( i did that for you...so that your baby wasnt alone) or when a pet parent calls me and explains that their fur baby passed away. Every single time my heart broke more and more.
But, when you learn that a long time client passes...it's a different pressure on the heart.
So for you Bill, thank you for trusting in me to be the groomer for Shelby. I have no words and still can't believe I won't hear your voice asking for a future appointment for Shelby. You were such an amazing individual with a beautiful soul. One thing I can do and promise is continue to care for Shelby until she decides it's time to join you.
You will forever hold a dear place in my heart.
Thank you bill.
And thank you all, your all so important. And no matter how many times my heart breaks.. it will stay strong for all of you!
Sorry for this long post. But I needed to say it
