I had the honour of sending a client's guinea pig to the Bridge. Auggie's mom needed a special keepsake of her angel so this is what I made. It has his picture, name, precious little pawprint and some fur incorporated into the design. She loved it! Makes my heart happy to help in some small way at such a heartbreaking time.

This post is to give you some important information regarding your pet. When the time comes to have your pet euthanized please be informed. You are your pets family, so you decide how his or her euthanasia and cremation or burial should be conducted. You have every right to be with your pet and make him or her comfortable during the euthanasia. You have every right to take your pet with you after the euthanasia or have whichever crematorium pick them up. When considering cremation, know that there are 3 types of cremation. 1 is mass or group meaning all the pets are put together in one . You will not get your pets ashes back. 2 is individual meaning more than 1 pet is put in the chamber in vessels which means you will get most of your pet back but there is cross contamination. The final is private which means your pet and your pet only is placed in the crematorium and processed alone so you are receiving your pets ashes back. This is the only cremation that ensures that you receive all of your pets ashes and only your pets ashes back. You are your pets advocate, ask questions and stick firm to what you want.
