What if you could freeze joy in mid-air?

German photographer Christian Vieler did exactly that: he captured the precise, hilarious moment when dogs try to catch treats, with expressions that range from wild-eyed focus to full-blown chaos.

And we’re obsessed, because these aren’t just photos of dogs. These are portraits of what we see every day, but never quite manage to capture.
It is the purest kind of joy, the comedy of anticipation and the split-second between the hope and the snack.

Christian started with his pup, just testing a flash, and ended up showing the world what happiness looks like, teeth and all.

Our Story

At Positive Paw K9s, we offer private dog and group dog walks to all of East Gwillimbury. We also offer both group and private training programs, as well as in home Behaviour Consults.

The focus at Positive Paw K9s is to create a positive and thriving environment for you and your dogs. We believe that relationships are built on trust and positive associations, not through force and dominance based training.

Owner Carrie Castaldi is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers - the largest credentialing body for dog professionals in North America. Carrie created Positive Paw K9s in May 2016, following a couple of years of questioning what her path in life was. Finally taking the plunge into a 12 year long dream of owning and operating a dog business of her own, Positive Paw K9s took shape.

At Positive Paw K9s we are always working on expanding our knowledge of dog training and dog behaviour to better ourselves daily. Through webinars, education platforms, certificate missions, and consulting with top professionals in the field, we take our role as your canine educator VERY seriously.
